I'll tell you what "waste" is. 3-teachers tlking in walmart about the sweet deal they've had with PERA, and all the different ways to "double dip" the tax payers. I won't name names, but have heard it with my owns ears more than once. State & gov't employees used to accept lower wages in exchange for job security. Now they have their cake and eat it too. Bureau of labor statistics show avg private sector wage across all industries is $50k yr with benefits. For public sector employees it has balooned to $80K yr with benefits. The reason for this is generally believed to be the rise of the public sector labor unions & their relationship with the various legislatures around the country. This has put much pressure on state budgets & put taxpayers in the reverse posistion of working for the so called "public servants".

Most of the people who respond on Topix need to go back to school. I usually have a headache after trying to decipher the atrocious spelling and grammer on here. Why do ignorant people really think they have the knowledge to respond correctly on Topix or any other website? Quit complaining and get an education!!

You may want to check your own posts first prior to criticizing others. It is grammar by the way.

So you messed up, you were just corrected on your spelling, not criticized. Perhaps you should not consider yourself above everyone genius!
