You are so WRONG! Doris Carleton will make a wonderful school board member. Having no children currently in the school system, she is not coming in with any kind of agenda. She is a smart woman and will make an excellent school board member.

Apparently you are not very aware of the board make-up. There will now be three who are not former HS teachers. And gee imagine how horrible to have educators serve on education boards who actually know what the real needs of education are rather than those who want to make sure that their children receive all the scholarships or that they have starting positions on the football team.... Why not have every Tom, Dick and Harry off the street serve on the medical board as we do on an education board. Surely they would have the background needed to make informed decisions about medicine just as the lay person does about education. I do not know the new board member but since their are usually only about six people who even attend board meetings, I'm not sure what difference it makes to BEANER as to who serves on the board. Unless of course he wants his son to be the starting quarterback on the football team. Then he might want to run to secure that position.

I think it was time for a change. And I personally don't know the new lady but I think Israel needed to be GONE! and it doesn't hurt for an educator to be on the board. They KNOW what is going on behind closed doors and they have had to pay the price in the classroom. No I am not a teacher.

A lot of parents have wanted that for a long time. BUT if you have a lot of money and contact on the board it will never go.

2-3 years ago there was a community vote about the priority of community issues, at the drafty barn
school uniforms were #1
the school board has ignored the desire of the people
