Although, I am not completely familiar with the geography of Clayton County and its borders, would someone please enlighten me with a reason why a vehicle marked "Lovejoy City Manager" was seen,(personally) just north of the Savannah area? I would hope that there is legitimate reason that such vehicle to that far south on I-16.

Hi Kathryn,

We appreciate the attentiveness of our citizens. I assure you the city vehicle was legitimately being used.
We had a GA Municipal Association convention in Savannah. Elected officials and municipal staff members from all over Ga attended training classes and symposiums. Instead of incurring the cost of rental cars or mileage reimbursements, the city manager and an elected official traveled to the convention in the city car. This decision saved the city money.
