I believe working at McDonald's should be for teens or college kids working as they attend school not as a means of supporting a family. They knew when they agreed to take the job (to which there was no gun held to their head) what the pay would be. If this is the only job they are qualified to hold then is that on McDonald's shoulders? No. At least McDonald's hired you when no one else would. Try bettering yourself with learning a trade.$15.00 an hour to ask if you want that upsized. Really?!?!?!? I read an article about someone working there for eleven years and complaining. Seriously? You can't find something "better paying" in eleven years? Either you are not trying or you aren't deserving due to your skills. This is why an education is so important!!!!!!!!

If a job at McDonald's doesn't pay enough to "support your family" then on your off time go flip burgers at Burger King. Then go deliver pizza's. There are 24 hours in every day. Work two or three jobs to make the money you need, it's your own fault you didn't get educated before you made a "family" to support rather than gaining the skills and work ethic to get a job that pays well enough to provide for a family.

Too many people making careers out of _entry_ level jobs.
