Great place to live. It will be much better when the POA board and GM stop wasting our money.

Not a fan. Odd group of senior Yankees. Golf courses have less than a handful of good holes.

You are correct, there is an odd group of left leaning Yankees here.

It would be a nicer place if it wasn't filled with Obama lovers. I could even live with the Obama lovers if I didn't have to bend over once a month and take a big one up the wazoo. Every time I write a check out for my dues I feel this really bad pain in the ass. I pay almost a 100 a month and get absolutely nothing but some leaves picked up. I can pick them up myself for free, bag them and the trash people will take them.

Tellico Village is a Royal Screw Job.

Just go to a board meeting of either the POA or HOA and tell me those people are Democrats. LOL - they love supporting their social life, not this Country. They don't even want to pay taxes to Loudon County for the schools! You got it all wrong.

They want to spend money for THEIR benefit only.

You are the F*CKING LIAR and a piece of shit too. My house has been on the market for 1 1/2 years with ERA Lakeside. Go stick your head back up your ugly As*hole because that is where you love to keep it. You show right here on a blog site the type of scum that live here in the village.

Have you checked the prices on real estate in Tellico Village lately? The mountain News is full of ads for houses listed between $135,000 and $15,000. Then the prices jump to nearly $1 mil and up. Didn't some predict on this site that Tellico Villge would become a community of run down abandoned homes in the interior and million dollar mansion on the lake? It didn't take long for that prediction to come true. Those interior houses aren't selling even though the prices have been reduced to lower than their costruction costs in some cases. My isurance company says it woudl cost over $200,00 to replace my home and I would be lucky to get$150 K because of were it is located.

Actually there are a few homes that have sold recently in the $250,000 range, too bad many started out in the mid $300,000 range. Lots have sold in the low $5,000 to $10,000 range, not many for higher prices...I believe a couple lots went for $500, sad. And hey to the guy who wants to purchase homes, mine isn't listed but if you are buying, I will sell....$325,000 wil do it for me...put you money where you big mouth is LetMeBuy

Homes in the 175,000 up are selling quite well in the village. True, some people, that bought, lets say in the past five to six years that want to sell and move on may take beating. Older homes will still sell for more than what you paid for them. However, many people in the village price their homes out of the market to start with. The homes on the lake are taking a beating if you ask the seller. Many place their homes on the market to make a killing, but they forget that in most cases, the buyers have to come from out of state and that has reduced their market greatly. I cannot ever see Tellico Village becoming a slum area. Not in the cards. What we need to do, to make this a better place to live is get rid of Winston Blazer along with many others. Jeff, needs to go because he was involed with Winston using POA employees on Winston farm. If he did not know about it, he has to be stupid. The packet recieved in the mail should alert everyone to the way Winston and Company wants to run the village into the ground. Read and compare to what you signed when you bought into the village. Only requiring a 10 percent of votes to swing a project would allow the POA and Winston to do what ever theat dreamed up. Time for the law and major changes to protect our way of life here in the village. The cost are getting way out of hand. Over 175 employees to do what? Drive around any day and try to find people working other than on the golf courses.

Glenn I am glad you wrote. Could you please explain exactly what they are trying to change with these new bylaws? They have not shown the old ones with the lines crossed out and the new language proposed. Obviously they are trying to pull a fast one. Also, don't the Property Owners have to vote on this change and what # is needed to pass them? Also do they have to be changed AT A MEETING or can they use written petitions? Thanks.
