Atomic Pawn on Tazewell Pike is a ripoff. They buy stolen merchandise and even though suspicious they don't ask any questions. They lie to cover up what they have done. Please avoid this store.

Most [awn shops are, so that's no big surprise.

What a stupid post. Pawn shops that knowingly buy stolen goods take a huge risk of losing money, which is why they don't do it. You're probably some crackhead who is trying to scam them like those people on Hardcore Pawn are always trying to dom

@ yer out, Listen you stupid jerk off, my 1000.00 set of wedding rings were stolen and an 18 year old boy took them in there and sold them for a 100.00. They ask him no questions and the manager is so stupid that she said that they might have been his grandmothers. To make matters worse, they claimed to have sent them out of state and then their next statement was the rings had been scrapped. You are the stupid crack head if you believe anyone would make up this kind of crap and you are probably selling them stolen goods. Maybe when the cops bust the place they will catch your sorry ass there. Those rings were very special so shut your stupid mouth.

Hmmm...a theft of over $500 and the police were not called? A known suspect who could easily be fingered by the pawn broker? Doesn't make sense.

Here's what really happened:

Pillhead took her rings to pawn them for, well...pill money. Either her rings weren't worth as much as her shady husband said, or the pawn brokers, sensing her desperation, offered her just enough for her next fix.

The real story is that she's mad at the shop for lowballing her and wants to blame them for not giving into her childish behavior. White trash tantrum ensued and she was asked to leave.

The third party (18 year old) is then dispatched to sell rings, takes original offer and then takes off with money. Now, the rings are "stolen".

Typical white trash pillhead drama.

If they were so special, then you shouldn't have let the kid pawn them. Your plan to get money from the pawn shop and then get the rings back by claiming that they were stolen failed.

See what drugs are doing to your life? Get some help.

Excuse me stupid, I am not a pill head. FYI extenuating circumstances, a member of the family stole them but it was turned over to the police. There was a report filed and I can still file charges. Better get your idiot head together before you judge someone but I am sure you are an employee.

@ John Blutarsky, You defend a pawn shop for buying stolen merchandise and you judge me? Can't fix stupid even with duct tape. For one thing idiot I am not a pill head and the other is I am not trash. As I said before, you are probably an employee. Those rings were supposedly gotten out of the state real fast then scrapped. No one was dispatched to steal those rings fool, that was a gift my husband had gotten for me several years ago and they were special to me now you stupid idiot why would I do that. If you are an employee of that store let me remind you I have a length of time where I can still file charges and have you investigated.

FYI genius, I didn't let the kid pawn them, he took them to the store and sold them. They knew they were stolen. Futhermore do you judge everyone else from your own drug use? Don't judge unless you know the whole story. I went to get my rings back not knowing they had been sold until I was on my way and the boy calls and said they had been sold. I agreed not to press charges if my rings were returned. The manager at the store hid the fact that they have an online store called Loftis Jewelry and Loan that they use to sell to from Ebay. That is where my rings went and then she lied and said they had been scrapped. Get your stupid nose out of your ass, not everyone is on drugs that gets ripped off.

For heaven's sake, what is wrong with you people, this lady gets robbed and you jump on her? Has it not occurred to any of you that she is being honest or do you believe her to be just like you? Atomic Pawn does buy stolen merchandise and they don't ask questions, I know because I worked there at one time but couldn't stand the dishonesty.

Lol...I'm not an employee. I have an education and a real job. I have no need for scummy places like a pawn shop.

I am, however, far more intelligent than some white trash pillhead. I've seen and heard it all, but most importantly I can see through the flawed idiotic logic of scam artists.

Take your pills and die, trash. The world is better off without you.

You really are an idiot aren't you? You think everyone is just like you, a junkie or a drunk. Only a crack junkie or a drunk would think that of someone they don't know.

Excuse me dear but you don't sound like you have an education. I am sure those that work at McDonalds have an education. Don't know how much you know about today's economy but even college graduates are taking low level jobs. Seems to me you have some real problems that you might want to see a therapist about because you judge everyone by what you do. Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black? Your not very intelligent or you would not defend an establishment that would buy stolen goods and apparently lie about it. Might I suggest dear that you go back to school and at least refresh your education when you get off work at Wendy's.

You sound like another really intelligent person. I do believe most of us might be drunk considering when I read what you wrote I didn't understand it either.
