Back to school lists
Fed up

Knoxville, TN

#1 Aug 6, 2013
What the heck? When I was in school (70's and 80's) back to school meant a notebook, paper, pencils, pens, folders. Whatever my mother thought I needed. Now as a mother of three I am faced with six pages of supplies the school is requiring. Including kleenex, hand sanitizer, copy paper, baggies, you name it. One child's list requires 6 binders and a calculator we priced at $75. Come on. Give me a break. Between supplies, clothes, shoes and backpacks it is bank breaking.

Thanks for allowing me to get that off my chest!
