Lakeshore Mental Health Institute in Knoxville closes its doors for good

If you walk around Lakeshore Park in Knoxville, you'll notice its beauty and serenity.

Dr. Leela Sud was a fine doctor who worked at Lakeshore Mental Health Institute. She helped so many. When she retired the place lost one of its finest psychiatrists. Even so, I am sad to see it close.

I agree. Dr. Leela Sud was the best psychiatrist in Knoxville and she worked at Lakeshore. I often think about her as I walk in the park there. I was sorry to see Lakeshore Mental Health Institute close. I hope the patients will continue to get care as fine as that provided by Dr. Sud.

I feel Lakeshore served a great purpose to the Knoxville community. As above I knew Dr. Leela B. Sud. She was a fine, selfless physician who helped many unfortunate people with mental illness who got care at Lakeshore. She and others made a choice to help the patients there knowing that most of these patients not only needed help but had no other choices for medical care. I hope the patients are able to receive the care they need and the quality of care they received from Dr. Sud and the other fine caregivers from Lakeshore now that Lakeshore has closed.

I saw hte posts about Dr. Leela Sud. She was a Godsend for me and my family. She is so pleasant and her compassioon for everyone is remarkable. God bless her. I hope she can continue helping the mentally ill in the Knoxville area forever and ever despite Lakeshore closing. She is truly a legned and amongst the bes t psychiatrists anywhere.
