Six Flags can open their checkbook, cause what ever they would pay will be less than a jury would award the young woman.

no amount of money is worth what this little girl has, and will have to go through. We all need to pray for her and her family. Such a sad tragedy.

Everyone! Read the back of those little tickets. It is stated that "by accepting this ticket, you release this park and/or company from any wrong doing". She will win in court, but not as much as you think. I used to work for Disny and I have seen this before. My heart goes out to her and I wish her only the best. But, again, this is how little people get screwed helping big companies operate.

What an insensitive statement, or was that meant as a joke? Either way, it was not the least hilarious. In fact, it bordered on sheer stupidity considering that shoes are purchased by the pair.

Don't ever think for a minute that you or your family members are invulnerable.

i dont think shell own that park or anyparks its just a freak accident it happens everyday to anyone.regardless of whatever age u are noone and i repeat noone is exempt from accidents no matter where u r at.so quit putting so much faith and trust in tha rides and believe that something good can and will come of it no matter what.

I wouldn't even wish such a horrible incident on you for this most heartless and ignorant comment. Your apathy is appalling.

Katie is my Goddaughter, and I can tell you that she and her family would rather have their lives back. No amount of money will compensate the disruption to their lives. Katie is ill from the medications, the pain and the stress. What they need is kindness and compassion, not smart ass comments about money or shoes. What is wrong with people who find humor in others distress. Shame on you, your parents must be so proud!

Kathy, my heart goes out to Katie and the family. I have two teenagers 16 and 14 I fear amusement park rides. I say a pray every time they go to Cedar Point and each ride they get on I tell them to say a short pray to be safe.

God bless Katie and god will give her strength to move on.
We will say a prayer every night for her...
