People just moved in (sure wish they hadn't) and they brought a stupid dog that barks non freakin stop 24/7. Police says they cant do anything as its on their property but the stupid barking is driving me nuts! Thinkin about buying one of those long range dog silencers, does anyone know if they work?

Bark collars work. If you neighbor is not a jerk, they will purchase one. If they claim poverty, you can give them one. However, my bet is that you are stuck with a barking dog. The real misfortune is that it only takes one dog to lead all the other dogs in the neighborhood into a community barkfest.

Why did your new neighbors leave their previous home?

I tried one of the remote devices. It may have worked a little, but it was not an adequate solution.

Anyone that would harm a poor defenseless animal is a poor excuse for a human.

Are you a vegan? If not, do you only eat meat from guilty animals?

I don't recall anyone mentioning hating dogs or expressing ill will toward them, but I think not teaching them to live harmoniously in their community is inflicting cruelty upon them and upon the community. If you want a dog as a companion, teach it to behave. If you want an "alarm system", put up motion detectors.

Problem dogs, and problem neighbors, would not exist if people considered what impact their actions have on those around them and showed proper respect and courtesy toward those around them.

Your right to swing your fist stops at the end of my nose. Your right to have a barking dog does not trump my right to peace and quiet.

The outcome will be grand. Flopsie the barking mongrel will be in convulsions, You'll be trying to console your family as they watch the death throws. And I'll be sitting back laughing and getting ready for a peaceful nights sleep.

Are you threatening me with a mythical creation from the minds of the gullible? And you speak of it like some vindictive vigilante.
