It is terrible. My family went thru plant closing and walked out with nothing after 38 yrs. They should be made to provide insurance and not cobra because you cannot afford cobra. Holiday present!! I am sure the management will be taken care of. My heart goes out to the employees, we have been there. Hopefully, for all of you another and better door will open for you.

Did the workers get a weekly paycheck? Then they did get sh:t. It's sad to see any plant have a layoff or even shut down but people have to take their own financial future in their own hands and PLAN,PLAN,PLAN!!!! Too many people want all the toys now and live paycheck to paycheck above their means on credit so when the axe falls, they are one pay period from disaster. This downturn in the economy is a wake up call for people to quit depending on the idea of living on credit according to projected future income.

You thank GOD that you got as many years as you did.
The only Sea Ray left Detroit,is because they did not want to pay union wage. Now it seems apparent that they no longer want to pay a living wage.
