Can anyone recommend a good pain clinic? I am a patient at Preferred Medical, and just found out they are closing their clinics and discharging all their patients immediately.

wish all the pain clinics would do the same, and leave you worthless losers out in the cold to suffer withdrawals off in some dirty gutter.
seriously, go rot somewhere and quit e-begging for your crutch.
YOU are a raving idiot. Go craw back under your rock, and keep telling yourself how brilliant you are. My hope I someday you will experience some real pain, Karma is a bitch!

lol Im not interested in going there. I was just curious if it's the place that has a podiatrist treating spine injury patients and handing narcotics out like candy. and if that's why it's closing. don't get me wrong, I believe there are legitimate pain clinic patients...just not clear if there are any legitimate pain clinic doctors.

Of course its a pill mill, just like all the other strip mall miracles of healthcare. That's exactly why Tennessee has such a huge pill addiction problem.

There are pain clinics that aren't pill mills.

There are medical conditions that can't be "cured" - you just have to deal with them. And sometimes, unfortunately, that means pain meds.

And yes, it sucks to have to rely on them. But sometimes there is no other option.

as stated above - karma is a bitch, so you trash talkers better hope and pray you never end up needing a pain clinic.

Whoa there buddy I'm not trash talking pain clinic patients. I've had 18 surgeries so I know pain. It's a constant in my life and won't ever get better so my only 2 options are to deal with it and have zero quality of life or take pain meds. I'm not opposed to pain management by any means! My question was simply where is this clinic and why is it closing? I'd heard about the podiatrist on another site and was curious as to whether or not its the same clinic. And yes, pain clinic patients tend to get bashed on topix but let's be honest here, a good portion of pain clinic patients abuse their meds or sell them and that makes the rest of us look bad. And a lot of the drs don't care as long as they get paid. Now, before I could even get referred to pain management I had to try every surgical remedy available, plus years of physical therapy and then yrs of just dealing with it. These days there are 20 yr olds with torn cartridge in their knees hitting pain clinics with track marks in their arms and getting an ungodly amt of pills. Surely you have witnessed this and it's pissed u off too!

Bullsh!t. you're one of the damn junkies that need these pillpushing drug dens to keep your addiction going. Pain is ALWAYS the excuse junkies use to get the pills.
