A drug crazed murder. Put a needle in his arm so the state doesn't have to pay for life in prison for this animal. No sympathy, maximum sentance. Justin Lucas deserves to DIE !!!

That mother needs to be fixed so she cant have anymore children. Why is she providing excuses for her son. Knowing his grandmother in prison during his early childhood does not make me feel bad for him. People go through tramatic things daily. It does not mean they should get a lighter sentance after murdering someone. Maybe if she prvided a better home enviroment for her son he would not have ended up this way

Hmmm, too late for excuses, the deed is done and guilt has been proscribed. It's time for this young man to pay for his decisions.

Tamitha Lucas - Mother of the Year. This poor kid never had a chance with a "mom" like this. That does not excuse him, but rather makes this story even more tragic. Where's Tona's mom? Oh yeah, out whoring around for money like her evil lying digusting daughter. Sickening all around.

Excuse after excuse will not resurrect the dead. Let another thug be stripped from his freedom for a life time. And I'm afraid it won't be the last time this picture is painted.

One more example of the way the world is now....People blame others so easily, that way they do not have to change since its not their fault. Meanwhile, good people suffer because of the selfish choices made by these disgusting humans.

its a shame that these young children dont have a chance at life because they do and learn what there parents teach them. This boys destiny was to be in jail. But its no excuse for killing someone. He should of atleast had a little bit of morals to know right from wrong.

Let me tell you something... that woman is a pathological liar. She used the story of her mother being a murderer as an excuse for other things when I knew her.... She is an opportunist and an enabler. Thank God that she no longer has custody of her other sons. She blames the father - who used to vainly try to discipline that boy, but was always thwarted by 'mommy dearest.' She claims that he was such a good boy - that is a crock of balony. That kid was a constant discipline problem in school, but she always defended him to everyone and allowed him to do as he pleased. He was violent and angry as a child and he is violent and angry as an adult... but now he has crossed a line that can never be uncrossed.... May God have mercy on his soul, because I don't.

Judging

You know who disgusts me the most? All of the people who sit here and judge one another through one account in people's lives. Have any of you been through something as tragic as this? Have you ever been in this mother's shoes? Kids from all over come from broken homes and turn out fine. So can you really blame all of this on the parents? After a kid's certain age in life, they make their own decisions. How can a parent be there for each one? They can't! Have you ever been a young child in today's society? For most of you, the answer is no. The world is different, and in this generation everything is different than what it used to be. So who are you to say that his grandmother's jail sentence didn't affect him? Have any of your precious kids been in trouble at school numerous times? Or anyone you know? Does this mean they are a horrible person, and later in life will kill someone? And if it does, would you reevaluate your outlook on this situation? Things that happen in everyone's life effect each person in a different way. Justin turned to drugs, and made very poor decisions. He will pay for what he has done to Jason,Jason's family,Jacob,Jacob's family,Tona,Tona's family, and every person he has damaged. I don't think it's morally right for you to judge people. Each of these families are going through an emotional state right now. As they sit here and read your opinions maybe they are thinking if YOUR MOTHER ever taught you to keep your opinions to yourself? There is only one true judge and that's God, so please let him do his job. Thank you.

You know, first off none of you know Justin personally as I did! I have went to school with him since third grade. And Im here to let all of you know that its not right to past judgement on others, when you have no idea what happened that night. You all listen to whatever everyone else says about Justin and Jacob. They werent the picture perfect children but be serious... what kids are these days? All three of them messed up and they all have to pay the consequences but Justin doesnt deserve to die! He did something that was very wrong, but it isnt like Ms. Delong wasn't the real reason all of this happened in the first place. A pissed off skank that wanted revenge, so she sets Jason up to get robbed. Im sure telling the boys that he was known for carrying weapons or Justin and Jake would have never brought the gun in the first place. And another thing, Tammy isnt a bad mother and all of you who feel that way should be ashamed! She did the best that she could do raising 4 boys while their irresponsible father did as he pleased. There is no excuse for Justin pulling that trigger, but lets be serious, Jason wasn't a picture perfect community member, he was a drug dealer, effecting your childrens lives! So lay off of the boys! Until your them, don't judge!!!!!!!

anyone who is interested can look up the stark county online docket listing and she that this 'good boy' was also charged with attempted kidnapping and rape.... and to one of the earlier postings... i am sure he didn't plan on killing anyone. let's see... he was raised with guns and hunting, but didn't know that if you point a weapon at someone and pull the trigger, the bullet will kill. Bull. Anytime someone fires a gun at another, they had better know for a fact that someone could die. No "Im sorry's" can ever take back a bullet.

I must disagree with Old Man Grump. I don't think anyone deserves to die by "the needle." But I must say this teen doesn't deserve to be pitied by his loss when he was young. I od believe that the doctor had no right taking him from his meds though. THat might have been the reason for this rage that this boy expressed. Maybe his depressioin was not as controlled or maybe he was just not right in the mind. Still, he does not deserve such a horrible death with a needle. I would also like to say that I have been through a death of a close grandmother and did not become agressive or kill. I think there are ways that this boy was taught to control such a depression.
