I would have opened fire when they were ramming vehicles to get away. They are very lucky that this victim showed restraint.

Imagine all the anti-gun liberals that would be foaming at the mouth wanting her to be jailed for killing two innocent men?
Those bong blowers are usually foaming at the mouth anyhow. You should just do what you've got to do to protect yourself and your family and then wear other people's scorn like a badge of honor.

That's right. I'm sure if they attacked her or her child they would both be dead. But killing someone because they stole something. Some people can't live with that because that item can be replaced but a human life can not. I'm sure she was thinking about herself and her child who was there also. Not everyone wants to kill someone.

You said what I was thinking. I carry but I don't want to shot someone unless it's a him or me situation. Very easy for someone to sit behind a computer screen and say what they would or would not do. Sort of a knee jerk reaction. Thanks for your post.

I dont want to ever shoot someone either but Im not going to wait until it is a Me or them situation. I want to come out on top and Im not willing to give up my life because I felt I needed to give them a fair chance.

So if some drunk kid breaks into your home because he thinks he's home, boom he's dead. What if someone stole a lawnmower or a plant out of your yard, are they dead also? People have to have a brain to go along with owning a gun. There has to be a point were you determine when to shoot and when not to shoot. Guns are for defense not offense.

A lawnmower or a plant? Highly unlikely that I would shoot. However someone breaking into my home at night while I'm sleeping probably would be at a very, very high risk. Your right, common sense has a lot to do with it. I'm not sure how I would handle the aftermath of knowing that I took a life but I will do it if someone (anyone) is a serious threat to me or my family.

On that we agree.
