How come this prayer for rain didn't get as much media attention as Gov. Purdue's prayer for rain? Both prayers are equal in sincerity and legitimacy, aren't they?

Yes, I agree that both are equal in sincerity and legitimacy.
- However, I did not agree with the amount of coverage that Governor Perdue's prayers received. One advantage of having separation of church and state is to avoid these types of issues. The news media are private organizations, and to be fair, may cover whatever they wish. Unfortunately the new media can't and usually do not make everyone happy with their coverage. Case and point.:-) |

Does it really matter? We've got thousands of troops overseas..the economy is in ruins...many other things are going on in this country. Take the focus and bring it elsewhere. Maybe...
