Bill, when I resigned as entertainment editor of the N&O (last name Twiggs back then) to stay home with my 3 children, I recommended to Sam Ragan that he hire you and he'd never regret it...and you sure done us proud all those years, Bill, a much better ee than I ever was. Good to see the article about you. Did you get the news today (Monday October 12) about our good friend Merle? Memorial plans are pending.
