I used to visit Lewisburg with my father as a young man. I will never forget eating BBQ chickens( narrow faces) with Ellic Baugh and family. Mr Baugh made a muddy water sauce he poured over the BBQ chicken that was mouth watering. Does anyone know such a sauce or recipe? Is this a Carolina BBQ tradition? Is Mr. Baugh still living?
