So, what do you all think of the crime time magazine? I haven't seen one but I have heard of it.

Is that the one where they show faces of people that haven't been convicted? I'm not sure how it's possible that it's legal. That is a form of harrassment. That is the problem with our society, and that is, the presumption of guilt. Our forefathers worked diligently to preserve our freedoms from these abuses.

It is disgusting and the person who is doing it an unethical horrible person.

I think its a great idea. Its def. legal and it doesn't say they were convicted it says they are charged. Maybe people will think twice about getting in trouble and being embarrased with their face out there. I love it!!

These guys don't ask for any payment to withhold a photo, just ask, and take the money you would have paid and donate it to a charity or something.
These guys are not greedy, horrible b******s the rapists and child molesters try to make them out to be.

These turds engage in extortion. There are plenty of records to back this up. While VA may chuckle and compliment this publisher on his "enterprising" business acumen, their activity squarely fits the definition of extortion under the VA and Federal Codes. Their accomplices will also be treated with complicity. They take money not to publish photos. The publishers own mug shots will soon be public. Extortion is a felony. Gee why didn't I think of that? Criminals are stupid indeed...

Ok genuis. I know this is likely beyond your comprehension, but the accused is innocent until proven guilty in the United States. What happens when a person is wrongfully arrested and subsequently found not guilty? Much of the damage to the private citizens reputation is done. These people are profiting from the misfortune of the presumtively innocent. While I have no issues with the publication of convicted persons, publishing photos of the accused, when they are not a public figure and before they are found guilty is merely an attempt to profit unethically from the misfortune of others. Eventually, such publications will themselves be judged by the court system and massive reparations will likely be due.
