What in the world are these people thinking? Havent the lives that have been already lost been cost enough for this dispute? If the family insists on continuing the dispute, their priorities are in the wrong place! NO land is worth this!

It's not enough lives have been lost. They want to continue to fight over property??? I think there are issues far and above the property.

Ok, do you even know these people? Well, I do, and the ones who were killed other than the shooter, were fairly decent people. Seriously, show some respect, and really, do you have nothing better to do than make disgusting comments on a tragic event?

The greed speaks for itself as "(t)he family has hinted that this argument over property is not over". Apparently, three deaths within this family of "fairly decent people" is not enough to bring everyone to their immediate senses. Good grief!

Ok, again, neither one of you know the whole situation or what they whole argument was about. So how can you judge? The two people who were shot and killed were killed over greed, but they weren't the ones who started the whole thing. One of them was actually trying to help the other get out of there when the shooting started and got shot in the process. And really, how would you feel if your brother or father or anyone else close to you were shot and came on here just to see the trash that people (who dont know you or what you are going through) are saying about them? Just again, people really need to show respect. Let them atleast have their time to grieve.

You can judge by the information in the story that NBC 29 reported. How about you be a good Friend and take out the white trash there and either burn it or send it into space and out of the human gene pool LOL!!!

You really need to get a life because obviously the one you have is pathetic. Some of the people on here leaving comments can be so egotistical and it's a shame. I'm sorry your life has shriveled up and died and now all you can do is laugh and someone else's tragedy.

True, you are a moron. Learn how to read. The story never mentions the sisters father at all. The person you are talking about is the 23 year old victims father and mother who are married... hmmm probably makes since that they all 3 have the same last name don't ya think?

Have some sympathy and respect.. regardless of the situation or the greed these are human beings who are leaving behind their parents, family members, significant others and most importantly their CHILDREN! You will have your day.. Karma is a B*tch!

Man - so they shot the bad guy who was shooting at them AND the pit bull he sic'ed on the K9; it just doesn't get much better than that. But sounds like excessive force to me, why didn't they use an less lethal glue gun, or a net, or perhaps a rubber baton shotgun round? Clearly this shooter just wanted attention.

i agree with Friend, people can be so heartless. I knew the son of the shooter and he was a decent guy. So just because he has a "last" name that sounds trashy to you doesnt make them all trashy! And it still didnt give his dad the right to shot and kill him and his cousin! All yall do is get on here to gossip cuz obviously you dont have much to do with your lives. but i do know that those boys murdered had young kids that where their when their grandpa decided to shoot them!! Right or wrong "trashy" or not, lives where lost and a family is grieving!
