Three Virginia Men Plead Guilty to Child Pornography Charges

In separate and unrelated cases, three men pled guilty today in U.S. District Court to various charges related to the transportation, receipt and possession of child pornography.

What is it that attracts these men to children? Children are innocent. They should be kept innocent for as long as possible. And have rights to privacy just like adults do, even more so in my opinion.
If I so much as mispell something on a Google search engine, ANYTHING pops up.
Once I put in for a recipe for a particular dish requiring "lamb," so typed in lambmeat. OH MY! What came up were pornographic topics concerning animals and humans, animals and children (and not about "petting" them, the animals that is) It was horrible.
I shut the entire computer down it horrified me so much.(that was my first computer, actually my son's for Christmas in 1998)
Now I watch EXACTLY what I put in, and learned to add the word "recipe" to anything I am searching.
From watching crime shows on TV, there seems to be a "code" in the prisons and people who prey on innocent children, wife beaters (and husband beaters) are considered to the be lowest of the low of prison standards. I wish no harm to anyone normally, but I certainly hope the the other inmates take care of this kind of "trash."
What happened to morals, kindness, and respect? I am 50 years old, and as a little girl, I remember pledging to the Flag before school, having Prayer in school. I know "things" happened back in those days also, but I believe it was nothing as it is today.
Sorry folks, my heart breaks when it comes to children being abused or neglected. And innocent animals as well. Or anyone anywhere that is taken advantage of. Being disabled myself, this has happened to me. I was literally knocked to my feet after leaving a drug store once up north, they stole my meds., and left me laying on the sidewalk. A lot of people were around, and no one bothered to help me up or fetch my walker, until finally, a kind person came forward. The two men got away. We moved here to get away from that. Since, my house has been burglered twice, all because of my obvious handi-cap, my husband says they see a target in me.
What is this world coming to, or has it been this way all along?

I think most of us agree that those who sexually molest kids for any reason need to suffer major punishment.
I'm a bit more concerned re what constitutes child porn. Years ago a older professional that I knew (at the office) was convicted of possession of child porn. It consisted of photos of his fiancé's 6-7 yr old kids skinny dipping off his boat in the bay.
He went to prison where I'm certain he suffered big time.
