He really believes that we are that stupid. Thank you Mr. President, now I'll vote for you. Pathetic. Personally, I'm tired of the government bailing out any state do to mother nature. No where in the constitution does it state that that it's the governments job. In 1900 Galvenston Texas was hit with a hurricane. Over 8,000 lives lost & a city gone. Yet they banded together & rebuilt it. In 1906 the great San Francisco earthquake devastated the city. The people rebuilt it. End of WW2 Germany was razed to the ground. The people went out w/ picks' shovels, & wheel barrels & rebuilt it. Fast forward to today a storm knocks out power & state governor's run to the feds for $$$. People wonder why the country is going to hell. No one takes responsibility anymore. Once the feds step in it is impossible to get rid of them. Hence, the begining of socialism. You can't do it yourselves, you need us.Sound familiar?

The Governor himself asked for this declaration from the Feds. Did you want the President to refuse the request to help Virginians in need?

This is a prime example of republican misrepresentation. If they would be straight shooters to the American people they could easily garner a huge majority in November, but they just cant stop lying!

I agree he is thinking this might get him some votes. Why did he take so long for the people in Louisa when the earth quake happened? Those of us who need it are thankful our Government is there in time of need. That is what the Government is there for.
But no I don't think Mr. President you will not be getting my vote. Sorry.

Don't you remember Cantor saying no more federal aid for disasters like one day before the earthquake?

For all of you naysayers who have nothing better to do than rag on the prez, remember this the next time your little shack blows away during the next storm. Dumbarses always making things out to be political. If the man did not offer up help - you would still find something to whine about. Go suck a lemon and add to your sour-puss faces.

The president does not think we are stupid - you just announced to the world that YOU are the stupid one. Whether you vote for him or not, this money will benefit some VAs in need, be they democrat, independent, or re-pubic-lican.

The governor just wants to look good..just like any other bloody government be them dem/rep...they always have an agenda for themselves..if the government didn't steal so much from the people they wouldn't need to run to the feds every time something went wrong..people are gettingto lazy..give me..give me..give me..it's a wonder we survived this long..I have never been a friend of an energenic government. I always find them oppressive...

I'm in agreement with you, but...

Let's not pretend that the alternative is better, or even less worse.

I hope you're voting for Gary Johnson.

I'm voting Romney..I like G Johnson..he can't win..all I care about right now is getting Obozo out of office..that's it...then we can get a canidate right away for the 2016 race..we have to get someone the people can get to know for a long time..not a few months..it matters..too many jumped into the race without any organization except Romney..this isn't a game..this is the survival of our country..if too many people vote for GJ out of spite..it could hand Obozo another 4 years..I would then quite politics forever..Romney isn't my choice..but he's the nominee & anyone but Obozo..

Dude..I like G Johnson..he won't win..all I care about is getting rid of Obozo..that's it..get rid of him & we can find a canidate right away to get ready for 2016..if people throw away their vote because they don't like Romney then they deserve what they get w/ another 4 years of Chairman Mao Obozo...
