I wonder how many will take their kids to Meadowbrook, since it apparent nobody likes anyone here. It is usually packed, I wonder if it is the same people that bash the neighborhood.

I would almost bet on the 30th. I know fort gay and louisa have it always on the same night and don't like to have it on the 31st because of all the trouble that goes on that night. you know like egging and so on.

It's a shame that Trick or Treat is suppose to be for kids but there are some people who want to make in to something far more than that. Personally I don't care where you live.

I care.

People shouldn't take their kids to several different neighborhoods. I know people who take their kids to 3 different towns to trick or treat. That is pathetic.

Keep them in their own neighborhood.

We shouldn't have to buy candy for 150 kids when only 50 live in our neighborhood. That isn't accurate numbers of course but you get the point.

My point is, nobody seems to like people who live in meadowbrook because their are snobs. This info comes from a previous thread. If that it the case why is it co PACKED on trick or treat. If you don't like the neighborhood don't come to trick or treat.

in louisa, if you want to fit in or feel big, then meadowbrook is the place to live. that is the only reason i can see that people would invest so much money in those homes knowing that all the place is, is a swamp and all of the restrictions. but if you live there, people automatically think your rich, and thats the whole point in it. am i right? so at least act like it and give the little childen more than one piece of candy if your gonna participate in the whole "giving candy out" thing.

Well, if you think it's so bad to have a nice place why would you want to trick or treat at such a nice place,or is it you don't like meadowbrook till it's time to trick or treat. Sounds kind of hypocritical to me.

I have taken my kids trick or treating for years. I participate in Louisa to the backstreets because not alot of people go there and to the older people's homes because they get so excited to see the kids. I don't feel Meadowbrook is any better of a place to trick or treat. I did go there one year and walked away with only a small bag compared of going in town to the side streets. Meadowbrook then only gave out one small piece compared to a candy bar elsewhere. Seriously candy bars are big around certain houses. Just gotta know where to go ;)

What's it to you how much we invest in our homes, or how we spend our money? WE WORK FOR A LIVING - bet you can't even hold down a job! The people in Meadowbrook love to see the kids at Halloween, but we certainly don't appreciate the ungrateful ones that can't even say thank you. A lot of you are just greedy people that aren't appreciative of what we do give you. Leave the pillow cases at home you greedy freak. Do you realize what you're teaching your children? So, if you aren't happy with one piece of candy (I'm laughing) trick or treat somewhere else, we don't have to give you any.

If Meadowbrook is such a "swamp" why would you want to risk your children's life? The swamp might be over their head! Grow up you whining babies!

Why do parents give their kids big garbage bags to use to get candy?Thats way too big!And i see lil kids using walmart or foodcity food bags, thats pretty low...they have halloween bags and pails at Dollar tree and dollar gen stores are $1 for most them, you can at lease try get the kids a halloween bag to use not food bag,Gees!!Try to care and do something for the kids and not your cigs and beer money!!
