Didn't go today, but, ate at Brad's BBQ Booth, during Septemberfest this Fall, and it was great food.

The reason it smells so bad in that area is because the sewage treatment plant is across the tracks from there.

I agree why can't people just support there local businesses. I know I tried Brads BBQ at the September Fest and I ate mine and half of someone elses. I thought it was really good.

Yes, Brad's BBQ is probably pretty good, but who can eat there with the towns outhouse so close. Ever been down thru there in late summer----WOW!!!!! Not bashing the restaurant, but the fact that the town has the poop plant in the middle of town. Needs to be relocated---BAD!!!!

Just have a big, long sniff, and enjoy the BBQ.

if a business can give a few people a job around here then i say support it. the smell of sarcasim is a hell of a lot worse than the smell of turd waste.light a scented candle or put a little dab of vicks vapo rub under each nostril. the smell of good ribs will drown out the stinge coming from the cabbage tank. good luck.

I tryed Brad's Pitt BBQ on Saturday 12/18/2010, the staff is still in the debugging fase (no pun intended). As with any new project or undertaking they will need time to work everyone's styles and quirks into a productive team. I am from the deep south and I have traveled all over the country. BBQ is one of my favorite things. I have eaten at some of the nicest BBQ joints in existence. Brad's Pitt BBQ can put thereselves on the map with a few adjustments and some hard work. I would make these recomendations...
1. Don't pay any attention the the low life Louisians who trash talk you both online and in town. They are jellous cause their welfare checks wont afford them any Briskett...
2. You aren't taken seriously in the BBQ world unless you offer Pulled Pork by itself as one of your menu items, and Brunswick Stew.
3. Increase your meat portions, it will cost you a little more, but trust me its worth it in the long run.
4. And finally offer a quarter, half, whole chicken selection.
These are four suggestions that didn't cost you anything. Take them for what they are wort. Personally I think you have allready beaten Little Frankies. And I loved the number of waitresses you have, I just hope you can afford to keed them. I counted 6 girls on the floor and 5 tables of patrons. Its a wonderful ratio for the customer, but I would imagine its going to be ruff on the check book. Good luck Brad's Pitt BBQ. I wish you all the success available in Louisa!!!
