Anyone else annoyed about how the workers there treat people?
The most of them are rude!
You wait FOREVER in line then when it is FINALLY your turn the cashiers are likely to just walk off. THey never have baggers, and trying to get help with the sopmlest thing like a price check is like pulling teeth!
I can't wait until Foodland opens back up.
Maybe they will have workers that actually work.

I shop there all the time and I have never encountered any of the problems you addressed.

Maybe it's your attitude?

I have no problem with the store as a whole. There are however, a few cashiers that are so rude. I went there the other day and it was late in the evening. I got a few things and went through the ten items or less line. Well there was a young cashier standing there talking to another cashier. She looked at me and then turned back around and kept talking. I had already laid my stuff on the counter. After about 5 minutes of standing there while they talked I asked if she was going to ring me up. She turned around and said, "oh I'm not open". Lol, I was seriously like wtf. Could she not have told me that when she saw me laying my stuff down or waiting there. Better yet the little retard could have put her closed sign on the counter. I usually shop at Walmart, but it was late and Foodcity was closer. I guess from now on I'll travel a little bit further for better service.

No it is not thier attitude, who ever it is they are so right! they are RUDE and some acts like it kills them to check you out,,, I am an older person and worked many years harder then they ever thought about doing there. I laughted one day and said to the person with me I bet they are MAD because they have to work. And yes they are very rude, I don't go in there much and if I do it is for 1 or 2 items, If the owner don't do something about them they will lose more than me I know a lot that don't go there anymore.
And I sure hope Foodland does come back, they were nice people in that store.

Like I said before, I go there a lot and no one has ever been rude to me.

I work retail and I know how some customers can be.

Think about the way YOU are acting next time.

Maybe you are one of the rude ones! Some of them are rude to people or they will look at you like you are dumb if you ask them something. They are young and they think that they have better things to do.

i know what this person is talking about.its the young prissy girls who think they are to fine to wait on older people. most of the older cashiers are fine. the young ones need an attitude adjustment.

I have shopped at Food City for quite some time and have not encountered any rude employees. I have noticed that some are not so freindly but then I'm not real big on holding up the line to chit-chat.

all i can say is that the sad thing about this is that even though there are rude employees at foodcity, there are rude employees at walmart, foodland, kroger, lowes, wendys, burger king, the truth is that if you have someone serving you and that person is under 35 years of age there is a very good chance that they will be rude or extremely impolite.

Kinda funny that I have never had anyone be rude to me.

I believe that it is the way you present yourself that determines whether people are rude to you are not to some extent.

I have saw a lot of customers be rude in stores as well.

Just like when they see a register getting ready to shut down they jump in the line anyway. They should move on the next line.

I call that being rude.

all i can say is!! i think they are rude brats just there puttng in their four hours and causing the company to lose money.
i am like the other person said can't wait til foodland comes back, maybe in the mean time they will train those little brats to put a smile on those sour faces!!!!i could care less if they went under maybe then they would smile all the way to the unemployment line.
maybe by then FOODCITY would train them little sweet hearts to treat thier customers better!!!!
