I have known Bob since I was a small child. He is a very good man. He is doing Fallsburg a service by keeping that store open. Not only is he friendly & personable, but so are his workers. You wont hear a bad word about him from me. And no, I am not related nor do I work for him or any of his family. Just a citizen that frequents his business.

You must be the only one left he's run all the other one's off. The community of Fallsburg doesn't need him to do them a service. He should be trying to get his store cleaned up and stocked up so he could have more customers come in to his business. He couldn't be making any money... He could be a lot friendlier.

When you do someone a service you try to acccomadate and keep what the community needs. Last couple of times I was there I couldn't get things I needed so I won't go back not what kind of service is that.....

There are a lot of changes in Fallsburg. People don't hang out at the store anymore they are made to feel unwelcome, you can't get things there, the campers can't buy groceries they have to go to Walmart. Back in the day you used to be able to hang out drink a cup of coffee and socialize a little check on your neighbors and find out what was going on in the neighborhood. Then you could buy anything you needed if they didn't have it they would get it for you. The clerks were friendly girls and they knew everybody and welcomed them at the door. The previous owners were awesome people that helped everyone in the neighborhood. That was the good old days. Wonder if that store could be saved and returned to the old days.....Bob I know you don't take hints very well so maybe you should listen to plain talk if you don't make some changes you are going down!!!!!!

Yea, you used to be able to hang out and shoot the bull. I'm sorry, but you don't seem welcome there anymore. I really don't think they mean any harm. They just don't understand that one little mistake like being unfriendly or not cashing a little check for twenty bucks can piss a whole family off. I hope he does well, but it's not lookin good. Of course opinions are like ass holes. Everybody's got one.

When is the store closing???? The shelves are empty. I heard 30 days would be a long time for them to be in business...I hope soon so someone can open a real store on the corner...

Yeah they definatly need to keep more items they need to do like pitstop in fort gay did when the new owners took over now its a awesome having a slushie machine or selling hot food like pizza by the slice and things like that really make a difference and also where the front register is they could put a glass window down there and sell coach hand bags and purses and sunglasses and things like that like pitstop does and it would make a world of difference for that store

Same place everything else went to. You have to restock in order to have something to sell. Look at the meat case and cooler nothing you can't stay in business long if you don't restock. People need someone they can depend on to have what they want...
