A Louisa man has been arrested and charged with two counts of 1st-degree sodomy. Police arrested Kevin T Jackson, 30, of Louisa, on a warrant Tuesday, August 24th–the warrant states the victim was under the age of 12 years old. Jackson has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Sept 1st-in Lawrence District Court. His bond was set at $50,000 cash.

Police have arrested a woman, 31-year-old Juanita O’Bryan, of Webbville. The warrant states on august 5th–O’Bryan threatened to commit a crime resulting in death or serious physical injury to the victim and burn her out. O’Bryan allegedly caused over a $1000 in damage to the victim’s home. Juanita O’Bryan has a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 1st and also has a probation violation hearing on the same day.

ALSO: Two individuals from the Oct. 2009 UNITE Drug Roundup were in Lawrence County Circuit Court Friday.

Ed Bradley, age 66, Meades Branch Road, Louisa was charged with one count first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and three counts second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. Bradley was sentenced to five years on each charge to run concurrently. Bradley was immediately taken into custody from the courtroom.

Also Brenda Johnson, 31, Old Fallsburg Road, was charged with two counts first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

Johnson was ordered to undergo psychiatric evaluation and was deemed competent to stand trial after brief arguments and a recess between lawyers. Commonwealth Attorney’s assistant Kimberly Compton argued that the evaluation Johnson underwent did not produce enough evidence that Johnson was incompetent to go ahead with a trial.

Circuit Judge John David Preston agreed, and set a report date for Johnson for Sept. 9, 2010.

This is all accusations. Kevin has not been convicted of anything and it is just under investigation for he said she said. Until a trial comes and he is convicted everyone should hold their horses and not rush to judge. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. And anyone who knows kevin knows that this is rediculious.
