you're wrong. not all it does. many of its relatable and writes about similar topics that other genres write. there's many awesome talented metal bands out there with both girls and guys in it. some write good stories. some metal is bad but alot of is awesome . educate yourself. some one may say the same about your music. though it sucks you don't like it, in a way it's ok if you don't prefer but its not trash.

Of all the things in the world to complain about you choose music.

It is simple----listen to something else.

Personally, I like metal, some country, and most bagpipe music. Also, other scattered and miscellaneous odds & ends.

Why trash someone elses fun, or enjoiment? Life is too short. Don't try to control others. Just do what you do and let them do the same.

I hear a death metal band is going to be playing at Septemberfest this year. How do I hear that? Because I know the committee and they're going to let it happen. And it's my band.
Funny that.
I came to kick the ass of all bluegrass, country, and gospel musicians that wish to challenge me.

I don't like heavy metal. Never did and never will but if that's what you like then crank it up!!! I like my country music and I'm sure there are people out there that would blast that too. But in all fairness, those people that do country line dancing looks semi-retartded at best. hahaha heel to toe and dotsy-doe Enjoy your lives everybody and quit worrying about everybody else.

I don't like metal. Give me Rhythm and Blues any day. Even rap is better than that stuff.
My opinion

Metal as a whole is still very much alive and well. Only in the early Metallica/Megadeth days was it considered mainstream, but today it has a larger following than ever. Consider the number of genres and sub-genres alone: screamo, death metal, hardcore, metalcore... just to name a few. The Warped Tour 2011 line-up was largely comprised of bands that could be called some kind of metal, and those concerts draw crowds in the tens of thousands to every major city in the nation.

I personally enjoy many types of music, with most genres of metal being my preference.
