I will be going to see if he can look us in the face and tell us why we as taxpayers are paying for his PhD.

No one has the nerve to show up and challenge Dr. Armstrong. All you people do is get on here and whine. Now bend over, Dr. Armstrong has a nice, big injection for you.

You people had a chance to make a change in the last election and you did nothing now you all are excited about paying for his Phd. Thats not the only thing that is going on in front of your faces. What happened to the concerned citizens? They were very vocal when Mr May was in office and disrespectable. But now since their group is in office you dont hear anything from them...

It is the board members we should be upset at. Not one stood up for us and said this is wrong and a slap in the face to our teachers. They are elected by the taxpayers and they all screwed us over! If the board members had voted no this would not have been happening.

Not only do you pay for the PHd classes that is coming up but the ones that he already has done to so that is more money and the 500,000 dollar life insurance policy if it is a life policy and not a term policy he will get alot of that money as well after awhile but nobody checked in on that at the board meeting so it might make you want to check on that and ask some questions at the meeting

We can only hope that his wife gets to collect the insurance money soon.

Nobody will show. The last time people got in an uproar through social media and claimed they were going to the next meeting didn't even show. I went there and sat in the parking lot for an hour and saw nothing but the usual board members going in the building. I could have stayed I guess, but strength is in numbers.

No inferior citizen stands up to the king. You're lucky you're not buying toilet paper for the king's throne and taking turns applying it. Stay home and send more money you mewling cowards.

I do not care who is in office there you people will find fault, always do. No one is going to satisfy every one of you people, some will be happy but some will be mad and that is just how it is. They have to do what they feel is best for the whole as a group and it isn't designed to try to satisy each individual so get over it and get yourself another cause to fret over.

Teachers are organizing a strike against the leadership. Your children will not be getting an education on those days. It is not sanctioned by KEA so they are going out on a limb. They are tired of being screwed over

Lawrence co schools are 158 out of 172 school districts in ky. Ky is 48th in the nation in 2114 ky has to go back to national testing, what are most of the kids going to do? They cant read now and the school board doesn't care they are the ones behind the pitiful education system inlawrence co.maybe Mrs Armstrong who is the head of testing can devise a way to cheat without getting caught again. The board of education is the problem they have to quit playing politics!

Politics has always been the problem in this county. Anytime you put people like the Armstrongs and the Webb-Hayes in charge what do you expect? They don't seem to care about the students and their futures. They care about one thing themselves. They are the most conniving bunch of individuals on this planet. They are the problem. When they retire things will improve. In the meantime my kids are going to Johnson County. I used to blame the teachers and the principals for low test scores too but my eyes have been opened. I feel nothing but sympathy for the teachers and the principals in this county. What everyone needs to do is begin praying for these individuals that they will see the error of their ways. I am an elementary ed. student at Morehead State. When I tell everyone how excited I am to be a teacher and I plan to go back home and give back to my community everyone discourages me. I had one MSU professor tell me to teach any where for the first three years except Lawrence County. She even told me Lawrence County is where new teachers go to die. I asked her what she meant by that and she said that she knew of at least five of her former students who have quit the profession because of the administration. I asked her why did they quit and she said because they hate teachers and they put a lot of undo work on them. It makes me sad that my kids have to go to Johnson County and I will have to get a job somewhere else. Please join me in praying for this administration. God is the answer.

New teachers are treated with every respect in this county. I can't believe people would get on here and ask people to pray for our administration. They are doing a great job and the new teachers are very happy. The teachers are not hated and neither are the principals. I will pray for people like you, the haters.

Hi Mr. Armstrong how are you and your minions today? You and your bunch better start being good because the saints in this town are praying for you all. I'm glad to hear you don't hate the teachers and the principals. They can all rest at night now. My wife really thinks you hate her. I'm so glad she's wrong. I'm going to go tell her so she will quit worrying about all of that stuff for the school she is doing in there right now. Maybe she can tend to my needs now for a change.
