This is Loudonville High School for you. All three of those seniors should be kicked off the team, Period!!!! I am sure the names and social status of the three seniors are basis for such a slap on the wrist.

There has to be more to this story. I am curious about all the bruises Jareth couldn't hide from his family...I saw none, or did I miss something? Also, isn't Jareth the same teenager who had a problem last year with drug abuse & had to be hospitalized for that? I don't know of any HS boys who go to their mother with a locker room problem. And didn't Jareth have ANY friends on that team that would help him? There are alot of unanswered questions here that should be looked into. You shouldn't throw stones mama, unless your doorstep is clean.

Sounds to me like miss Football mom says it all your a football mom and this is Loudonville If you dont have a name in this town we all know what happens. Sounds to me like some kids are upset because a sophmore has a starting position on the team and these 3 probably couldnt hold his jock when they were sophmores. Dont run a kid in the ground until you know everything your kids do.

I am a football mom Loudonville; but my boys didn't play for Loudonville & they are out of school now.I don't know any of the boys, that's my point. Whatever started the fight...we have only heard Jareth's story & as he told the story on TV, he found it quite funny...watch it again. Maybe it was jealousy, but getting to the bottom of it seems a more appropriate step, than to punish first & investigate later. Rather than go on TV & slam these boys, maybe mama needs to see WHY Jareth always gets picked on, maybe he instigated it. Or maybe he gave one of them a cheap shot in practice...I was in no way trying to run Jareth in the ground...just stating some facts. It's sad that we allowed these boys to quit, rather than work this out.

I agree we havent heard the other side of the story and why is that it might come out who knows. He shouldnt have quit. Where were the coaches when this mess was going on? I guess their isnt team in the team work. Its funny because these kids are gonna be remember by this incident not in a good way. 3 days inschool suspention not enough make it 3 weeks of not playing besides football team isnt that good anyway.

I am a student at Loudonville High School, and we do have a history. But what i think is we should hear both sides of the stories before people start putting us into the ground. Loudonville High School is a great school. Good teachers, lots of sports and activities to get involved in! And just because one incident happened doesn't mean people should start judging our school or even taking sides. I have been around Jareth he is a nice guy but he also has a history. Sometimes i do worry about being around him. But your never really safe any where! So, it doesn't matter. I get along with almost everyone at the school, and don't have a problem with ANYONE! And i don't think our school is the only school that has problems. And high school boys should be mature enough to walk into a locker room and get dressed and do what they gotta do and shouldn't need a babysitter!

Thats bull,if Jareth starated it then why did the other players, come forward and say that the three seniors was hazzing, and beating them up. See we would not be in this, if you would teach your kids how to be a good football player so that a sophmore does not take there spots.

Football mom did not have to represent Loudonville with such ignorance. Now, I am ashamed to admit I am from Loudonville. I know Jareth, and he was not in trouble for drugs. You're wrong! Bruises can be in other places besides the face. You say you are stating the facts, but you don't know any of them. You also stated that, an investigation should be done then followed by punishment, with no protection for the victims. Surely, someone as unbiased as you, has seen the recent news, STATING more boys from LOUDONVILLE, have quit the team due to hazing, because the boys accused were allowed to stay on the team. You're a genius. And the freshman have validated Jareth's story. Apparently, football mom, you missed that fact it took 3 to beat on Jareth, I don't think someone like that is picked on. And who are you to judge Jareth and stick up for the future thugs from Loudonville.

Everyone has a right to thier opinion, shocked parent. I posted my comment BEFORE the second incident. I think Loudonville has a lot of great kids in it & I don't consider them thugs. Just because you "know" Jareth doesn't give you a right to judge either, or label them as thugs. I didn't say Jareth was in "trouble" with drugs; learn to read. And yes, he was in the hospital. You don't have all your facts either. Just because a kid hangs out with yours, or you know thier parents, doesn't make them "a good kid". We both see different sides on this, but an adult doesn't set a very good example to post a comment on here calling another parent names because we disagree. That's why we live in America. Now, THAT'S something you should be ashamed of.

1st, I am proud to say that I am not an alumni of Loudontucky!!! This town is full of nothing but SMALL TOWN politics!!!!! All the coaching from pee-wee up is nothing but Alumni. All of which know NOTHING about football, teamwork, and discipline. There was one outsider who came in and taught pee-wee and showed the kids how a team should be, but he was booted out for making all the other coaches look bad. As for Football Mom, you did say Jareth was in trouble with drugs, you might need to get off whatever you are on and re-read what you wrote. Also, I can't believe you only bring up Jareth's name and all the bad he has done. What about the "NAMES" of those who did the hazing!!!!! Tyler Bender, Ridenbaugh, Joe Berry, to name a few!!!! How about that!!! I am tired of these kids getting away with everything in this town! Something needs to be done. Also, where were the Lance's???? COACHES and PRINCIPAL's shouldn't allow the inmates to run the asylum. These are the same people who brush stuff like this under the rug and then go to church on Sunday!!!!! What hypocrites!

Cousin, my boys never hazed anyone nor were they hazed. They didn't go to LHS & my youngest has been out of school for 7 yrs. The punishment these boys got, was not that severe, BUT, as upper classmen...a big blow to finish out your HS days with that following you. If in fact, Jareth did nothing to start or provoke this, then yes, he is clearly the victim. I am not trying to run him into the ground, I apologize for that. You have all proved me wrong for thinking this kind of violence just doesn't happen in Loudonville. I've worked in a college for many years (yes, I do have an education) and I have never seen this in a big city, nor the schools my kids attended. I realize that it happens, but have never been exposed to it. In my mind, I cannot imagine why these boys would do this & risk senior year unless they were taunted. And it's been proven, they were not. I was wrong, I am sorry.

apparently Jareth does not suck at sports, he was a starter, as a sophomore. And you are probably mad because he took your spot. Admit it, you are from Loudonville.

Fed UP, why are you so worried about Loudonville, I see you are from Mansfield. The statement you made about "Can only Beat our own" That is being stupid on your part. Put yourself in the shoes of the player who are wrongly accused of something that happens everyday in every locker room. This all is blown way out. As a parent of one of these accused boys, I am very proud on my son, he would never hurt someone for being a 9th grader. This is just locker room behavior!! which the whole football team 9th graders included, partake in. YOU need to know the whole story. Why didn't the underclassman come forward back in July if they thought they were being hazed, why did it take an annomous tip to question the underclassman. This is all because of one Mad Mother. To All LHS Football players keep your head up I am very proud of you!!!

I am from Loudonville, unfortunately!!! If you would look, it says you are from Vail, AZ, smart ass. That is where your internet provider is located!!! It is the attitude that YOU have that makes it ok for these boys to do whatever they want and not pay for it. When my brothers and husband played football (not in Loudonville) they never had time to mess around in the locker room. After practice, they barely had enough energy to eat dinner and shower before falling asleep, let alone hazing an underclassman. It is called discipline and REAL coaching!!! Also, look how many kids are dressed on the sideline, and how many actually play!! That is due to academic ineligability! That makes Loudonville look like EINSTEINS!!! I hope your boy doesn't make the mistake and do something like that to mine!!! Then you will have a MAD MOTHER on your hands! I hope this town is proud of their coaching staff, because there will be many more losing seasons in the future. Also, if this is Bender, all the ass kissing you did to the Superintendant, did nothing but put a bad taste in your mouth!!

Proud to be from LHS......... if your son is soooo damn innocent, why the hell are you on here making up excuses for "everyday locker room behavior"??? Why??........ because you know damn good and well what the truth is, I see right through you. I congratulate that "Mad Mother", she had the guts to stand up to the elite here in this hell hole town........ so go sit down and suck it up!!!!! Be a responsible parent and stop supporting this type of behavior.
