it's pretty sad when a traffic light is something to get excited about. the county mayor and county commission need to get some new stuff like restaurants in the area. do they not realize the tax dollars the county would get, duh!

That's all some people had to bitch about. Now they got their redlight wonder what will be their next complaint.

Well people have bitched about growth in Loudon for years and now we are years behind everyone else so I guess it works. But we still have that beautiful historic downtown area that brings in so much revenue so I guess it's all good right.

Oh yes. That "historic downtown Loudon" is supposed to be a tourist attraction you know. I sure people travel here from England and Brazil to see it.

i just don't understand why the officials don't want Loudon to grow. i mean you can only eat at carls so many times. don't get me wrong i love carls but a nice steak and drink would be nice every once in a while without having to drive to knoxville. and somewhere else to shop. rant over 4 know. thanks

There are people there, some in charge too, that think growth would be bad for their business.

If you clamped down on the polutters and got ris of that offensive smell you may get folks to visit Loudon. It has the potential to be a very guaint town but not with it's present odor.

that smell has supplied a lot of jobs. and besides the smell is not going to keep someone from coming to the county.

I know. We've tried to get Leroy Tate to use deodorant but he just won't listen.
