Bush budget leaves out bay oyster restoration funds

Chesapeake Bay watermen who say they need a federal hand to restore the estuary's oyster population found nothing to celebrate in President Bush's budget proposal.

How can we get money for our Bay cleanup or for the Oyster or crab industry when all our money is being spent on foreign countries or the trillion dollars spent on a war, a war that HE lied about in order to pull us into his dream of controlling all the oil in the middle east.HE probably doesnt even like seafood(caviar maybe)since he is from mid Texas COWS ARE SUPREME just give him a tough old steak to chew on. We the citizens of The United States dont deserve to keep our country on land and on sea in good condition for us our tax dollars are at work in every part of the world but here.THANKS TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND GEORGE OUR COUNTRY IS IN DEEP PERIL AND NO ONE IN WASHINGTON GIVES A ROYAL DAMN.

Since when is it the responsibility of the federal government (taxpayers) to repair the damage the watermen have done for years to the bay? The inbreeds on the water have ruined the entire region and now are crying for someone to bail them out. Hell no. What needs to be done is ban all oyster, crabbing and commercial fishing completely on the bay allowing only recreational fishing and crabbing. If this were done the bay would soon return to a more healthy state. The watermen over the years had their chance and blew it. Now it's time for them to pay the price.
