Once again, people try to get around the rules and it causes a pedophile to be released. Why can't people just take the time to do things right? Would it have killed them to wait for a new Grand Jury?

Would it have killed society to let the girls dad shoot this pervert?

Our justice system has very little to do with justice, in my opinion... Rules too often take precedence over common sense and "money" too often triumphs. Do I have a better system - no, but I sure would like to see some reforms - oh, but I forgot, there's a "rule" for that ! One good idea would be to give voters more information about the judges we do elect here in NM before we vote - as far as I have been able to find out, there IS no way to tell what a judge's qualifications are when voting here in Otero county...
