The problem for the society maybe that many if these cases may have taken place Before their current child rape policy

Like many religions JW also attempted to handle such cases InHouse with untrained men

The views toward clergy- laity privacy has shifted in the public and legislature bodies around the world
Many statutes of limitations being rolled back to address these crimes

I have always said the issue of child rape for such organizations has boiled down to

1 who knew it

2 when

3 and what did they do with the info

Depending on the answer to those questions Oftentimes determines will it cost big $$$$

Plain and simple
When crimes are found in corp archives and no one had reported it

The corp is facing some serious legal issues

This is where wt finds itself

For decades JW families have been told. Don't hurt the name of the Congo

Let yourself be wrong
Only jah can fix the pain in the new system

No need to open old wounds

Consider jw are in200 lands

We are merely seeing western type countries

Translate that into undeveloped countries with poor legal systems

How do you think such issues are handled

Sad day in the city

On the money, no pun intended lol !

The WBTS has become a totally "OUTWARD" appearing, fleshly organisation. The mandatory dress code, grooming, no hairy faces or legs on both men and women (joke) lol ....shows the extent they are willing to go, to portray a squeaky clean sanitized organisation.

It became quite clear in the "Candice Conti" case that the elders when uder oath, stated they followed protocol in NOT reporting back to the police authority and in a "NON PAPER TRACE" procedure called the legal department from a pay phone....

All churches and organisation have their issues as the church is composed of Wheat and Weeds, however, this is NOT the case in the WBTS they are the Wheat already chosen as God's spotless organisation and were paradise cleansed conditions already exist by their OWN self acclaimed authority. Nothing can mar this image !
The organisation comes first and JWs are authorized (theocratic warfare) to lie if necessary to uphold this false image of Christ's millennium rule on earth.

Are you talking about the overt organization or the covert organization?
You want BOE letters and documents then go here:
www.JWleaks.org
You want taped phone conversations and letters to the Society's legal department that clearly describe and demonstrate their protracted scheme to cover over the criminal child sexual abuse of one Elder, Larry Mattox in Monroe Michigan? I have access to those..
Also, the police report was made and investigated by Detective Sergeant Maryanne Ortmann of the Monroe County Michigan Sheriff's Department around fall of 1995, I believe but the then County Prosecutor Ed Swinky refused to prosecute due to collusion and influence with the Elders in the Monroe Congregation and most specifically Fred Witkop (which is also evident in the tape recordings)with even overwhelming evidence. There is much, much more to this story!
(Thread saved)
Hi KD :)

Some of my posts get deleted, as we discussed before, I notice you have "Thread Saved" what's up with that ?:)

None of those letters say not to report crime because it will hurt the congregation. It is just the opposite. The victims are encouraged to report the crime. One letter said to even offer to go with the victim to the police.

There is a long history of the Society deleting entire criminally incriminating threads and I want them to know in advance that each and every thread I post is saved in storage. It is anyway whether I say so or not but it's just a friendly reminder to them that it does no good to delete anything. It does no good anyway because nothing is ever deleted from the Internet and can always be retrieved from any number of servers or drives and storage points if not from my own hard drive! Even if I weren't saving them...
Many things are reported to authorities or forwarded to third parties as well but I want them to be constantly reminded...
Yes we are watching every post you make and we are shaking in our boots at your rhetoric.

LOS LUNAS, N.M.—Monica Jaramillo is ready to break her silence.

She has now come forward and filed a lawsuit against the Los Lunas congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, as well as an elder in the church she says sexually abused her when she was 8 years old. The lawsuit says he’s the same man who raped her mother when she was also 8 years old, but in Indiana.

“We were taught not to go to authorities, and so I went to who's the proper authorities within the organization and then I was told to just keep it quiet,” says Jaramillo’s mother, Vicky Davis.

This lawsuit is the first of its kind in New Mexico, but the third filed in the U.S. by attorney Irwin Zalkin.

“We think this is sort of similar to the beginnings of the Catholic abuse story,” Zalkin says.

And local attorney Terrence Revo, also representing Jaramillo in her lawsuit, says this is just the start.

“We believe there are many more [local victims],” Revo says.

We asked the church for comment but have not heard back. We are not releasing the name of the defendant in this case because he has never been charged with any crimes. We did call a number believed to be the man’s, but no one answered.
Appears as if the dam has broken. Wonder how many more will come forward.

.
. Even though they may have changed their policys..(Possibly ) The facts are ..that they did abuse the Widow and the fatherless child.. AND effectively stuck the abuse in Quarantine. BUT..like a virus..it has broken out... WHY! because the WTS..boldly and proudly pointed fingers at the other churches.. And chortled that they were so much better..YET! the bible says that GOD ..will see that these sins that have been hidden will be exposed.. Some how the WTS.tends to not take the Bible seriously..And they don't apply the message to themselves.. NOW! they are going to learn the lesson...the hard way.. And yes..it will be splattered all over the media.. WHY! because of the constant..printing of the wrongs of others and the attitude of The Queenly throne.. THEY brought the scrutiny upon themselves.

are you legal yet?...... as you know from having years of experience in the cult and then on various ex-jw internet forums, it takes a special knowledge=skill to understand and combat the depth of the tricking talking jw leadership and their bag of tricks and their cover-ups and propaganda.

as you can see from this site, it even takes a few years for newbie former members to be able to successfully and clearly refute the bag of tricks the jw leadership utilize.
...... most main stream christians don't do that well on these exjw sites, cause they don't know the jw bible lingo and bag of bible tricks.

none of my business, but you and several others here would be a valuable assest to any lawyer who is taking on a jw molestation case.

How about this. An actual quote from a brother when a case of molestation was reported to them and the family said they were going to the police.

"You wouldn't want to bring reproach on Jehovah's organization, would you?"

also

"You wouldn't want to make Jehovah's chosen organization look bad, we don't know that she is even telling the truth"

And as many a Jehovah's Witness has posted here: "do you see how sexy 5 year olds dress these days"
Of course Jehovah's Witness children are usually forced to wear ugly, out of style clothes anyway, but the pro-pedophile agenda is alive and well in the Jehovah's witnesses.

If you dress up a child to look like an adult then according to Jehovah's Witnesses they are appropriate sexual partners, and the child is guilty of fornication.
The poor elders and ministerial servants, they are simply imperfect men.

Yup, sick but true.
