The first sentence should read,

Are you deliberately missing my point?

This crime resulted in NO deaths (attempted or otherwise) and one very minor injury -- that is hardly equivalent to the killing & maiming resulting from blowing up abortion clinics.

Take our Santa Cruz Sentinel editor, Don Miller -- he's a fundamentalist Christian. He's stirred up plenty of outrage against this animal rights crime, but when has he denounced the far more violent anti-abortion crimes?

Your opposition to violence is curiously selective.

If any other country deliberately attacked a US Navy ship for hours with napalm, torpedoes, bombs, rockets & machine guns, and then (astonishingly!) managed to coerce our own government into covering up the massacre for 42 years & counting, I doubt if you'd try pooh-pooh it.

But you have consistently done exactly that when it comes to Israel massacring US Navy sailors: ussliberty.org

Why - because agriculture is such a deep seeded root of American culture IMHO...
Are you saying the countless far more violent crimes committed by illegal aliens & their hordes of anchor babies cause less outrage than this far less violent animal-rights crime because the illegals are associated with agriculture? IYHO?

So, your point is that Israel has complete control over the USA? Mass Media, Banking, Immigration, Military, Politics etc....Very interesting.

Sentinel, I am disappointed that you chose to cover Peter at all. Peter, encouraging violence is never a good idea. Oh, and the best way to get the FBI to follow you around is to say you are willing to break the law. Way to go. I hope you enjoy spending more time in jail after you are linked to the attempted homicide/firebombing.

Our species continues to perpetrate acts against each other, other species and our Planet that are unconscionable. The people who do such acts against each other, another species, or the Planet for fame, profit, or to fill base human desires of power, control, or sadism over another living thing is a testament to the inability we have as a species to live in harmony with each other, other species, or planet Earth. How much pain and suffering must we endure? How much pain and suffering must we perpetrate on each other? How much pain and suffering are we to perpetrate on the other species we share this Planet with for our human amusement? When are we going to wake up to the fact that we view pain and suffering as a way of life and commerce? Is our species a plague on this planet? Is our species designed to just hurt, kill, destroy, and abuse everything we see around us? Please wake up folks and make a difference, please do your part to stop the pain and suffering. It is your free will choice to do so.

Thank you so much for your well-articulated response. It's obvious who on this comment page has done research on this subject and who has not. Peter Young is a courageous humanitarian who, decades from now (right now ignorance on the subject remains the status quo) will be immortalized for his self-sacrificing efforts in behalf of animals.

To set the record straight:

The Sentinel describes vivisection thus -“A vivisector is what activists call those who dissect animals in the course of their work”. This is incorrect. Vivisection is surgery conducted upon a LIVING ANIMAL, typically animals with a central nervous system; it is experimental research involving living animals. By law, labs are supposed to anesthetize the animals before flaying into them, but research shows that many do not.

Thank you again Peter for all of your efforts in behalf of the tortured, voiceless beings that humans are supposed to steward.

Did I say that?

Your concern for the US Navy sailors Israel massacred is (predictably) ZILCH.

So why don't YOU account for how Israel could get away with deliberating attacking and massacring the crew of a US Navy ship??

A "tragic mistake" you say?

That is NOT what the survivors say! ussliberty.org

I asked why the countless FAR more violent crimes illegal aliens and their hordes of anchor babies routinely commit don't generate as much outrage as this crime?

YOU brought up "agriculture" -- so why don't YOU explain what your point is?

Well, you've had your chance to explain Israel's massacre of US Navy sailors.

And as usual when your "tragic mistake" bluff is called, you quietly put your "anti-semitism" card away and clam up.

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Aries

You're feeling practical and sensible today, so it's great for getting on with some of the Christmas preparations. The idea of saving money appeals to you now, and if you're browsing around the supermarket looking for festive food you might be so horrified by some of the prices that you decide to make your own instead. This will give you a real feeling of satisfaction.
