The guy was looking for housing and he'll get it - courtesy of the DOC. That will also include groceries and medical coverage if that is any compensation.

What happen to all of the stuff?

I'm thinking the owners might not be so innocent of all the facts. I'm thinking there might have been some benefit in regards to who pays proeprty taxes and the owners were quite happy to have ownership ambiguous.... I'll bet any, and all, homes they own have absolute unquestionable titles now. There's a page two to this story....

Well all I have to say pay attention to the paperwork! Read it, if you have to get someone to help you know what's in all that paper, do so. it's there for a reason!

Its a red tagged home that no one is suppose to be living in including the owners. But SC County currently has decided not to enforce the red tag for this special couple. They enjoy a mountain home for cheap and really low taxes.

Isn't the Theft of Whole House of Personal Property a
Felony to Start with and where did it disappear to. |

A question for you or anyone else...has anyone actually obtained and read a copy of the alleged "red tag" (Notice of Code Violation) that was issued against the property? |

Of course not... why would anyone want to do actual work before they post a claim? It's so much easier to just drivel and spout. Besides, when did actual facts even matter to the majority of Topix posters?

The county and the state should both give these two guys a new home at the state pen. They knew they were doing something that was shaky if not illegal when they formed the company for the sole intent of taking over this particular property. They obviously knew someone lived there and knew they would be gone when the one man moved in. What happened to the furniture and belongings?

There's a scary implication to this story that hasn't been fully explored by the media: people like these fraudsters are apparently trolling public databases looking for fairly obscure loopholes like this.
