I bought a poodle from a puppy mill years ago. The poor dog is now blind and has never been in the best health. They do far too much inbreeding which increases their profit but makes for sickly dogs. Our other dogs have all been adopted from shelters since. They are in much better condition.

What does this (from the article) mean:

"Animal Protection of New Mexico said they have several complaints about Corbin's breeding business.

When Animal Protection was told about our story, they said they will be working with Valencia County authorities to inspect Corbin's operation."

I guess that means Animal Protection doesn't botjher to investigate "severla complaints"?

Must be a government job! Who is in charge there and shouldn't they be removed from that office?

Another inept government agency. Whats new? Nothing in this case. How about a little old fashioned justice.

I just recently purchased a yorky puppy from this breeder. The puppy I have seems to be in good health. However, she does have kennel cough.

Breeders like this should be forced to serve time in the same conditions they provided their dogs...

About 60 days in a 12 X 12 outdoor pen with a soiled comforter and a bowl of Ol'Roy would do this beotch a world of good.

Compliants are just that. Solid proof is needed to charge someone. Also the lax in good laws are another reason why these breeders can do what they do. If investigators ask for a search warrent they need to show that it is warrented. There is nothing cut and dry here. Hopefully more and more states will continue to crack down on breeders. But there are many people who don't want new laws made to enable law enforcement officers to catch these people. Sometimes officers hands are tied. It's truely a shame that these animals continue to suffer at the hands of greedy and selfish humans:(

Instead of people going to a breeder for a pet. Please go to the shelters. If people stopped going to breeders for animals, this woman would be out of business.

A little over a month ago, I adopted a cocker spaniel/cross from the Humane asso., here in AbQ. He is healthy and a joy to be around. Why pay a breeder for a dog that may be sick when the Humane asso. has many loveable dogs and the price is right!

This woman sells many breeds of dogs and horses she has about 7 civil suits filed against her. Everyone who has been harmed from this dog breeder needs to ban together to put this lady behind bars.

why do people adopt from this SCUM???
Valencia county, shut this place down and now. Puppy mills need to be shut down.
Do NOT adopt from this person and pass it on to all your freinds. The more they get a bad rep, the more they are hurt.

I also bought a sick dog from these awful people. My pup had a fever and bad kennel cough-several trips to my own vet-the vet they used at Los Lunas Animal Clinic failed to diagnose any of this. The license I believe they carry is issued to someone else. Do not buy a dog from these people. They are rude and do not care about these animals-just the money.
