"Obammy". Who came up with that one? Reminds me of your "Brobama". Those could be "good" Green profile avatar names. Some may think they are offensive. I see it both ways. They can be viewed as an honor to the President. Hey, would "Hussy" work? Hussein. No pun intended. Okay, maybe a little. How's "Barack Attack"? Or "Baa Baa Barack"? I was thinking "Baa Baa Black Sheep" but that may be viewed the wrong way by hyper-sensitive polittical correct people and I don't want any prejudice stuff at play with my comments.

Romney, you better get your groove on. ;-)
On my local site someone keeps referring to Obama as Balack Obammy. Very racist but sort of funny. I found a web site of dirty sounding names. What does this name say?

Dear Mr.(or Mister OR Mrs. or Ms. or Miss or Madam or 'Missy' Felterbrush -- since Andy can be male or female these days),

You know? Like beautiful actress Andie MacDowell. Whoah!

"aka S a K". Yeah, I've noticed the Topix posting system doesn't allow the "&" in a name. Hence, your S a K instead of S&K? Unless, you're trying to make a reference to a sack. LOL!!! Remember the South Park episode where the boys dressed Butters up to go on the Maury Povich show and what they placed under his chin?

Any way "felt" tip pens are cool. The almighty Flair ink pen. The Sharpie permanent markie (now an ink pen too). Have used the Sharpie marker. But not the pen -- yet. I haven't had my hands on a Flair pen for a while now. The only downside to a Flair pen -- in my humble opinion -- is the soft "felt" tip that tends to break apart over time. Oh, the almighty Flair ink pen. The pen is indeed mightier than the sword. Except when it comes to the Topix post of course. The 'Post Comment' button has the felt tip beat hands down.

Wow. A riddle. Awesome. "Balack Obammy". What does that name say? I'll take a gander at it. How about this? Balack was a man in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible. Perhaps, you're familiar with the story of Balack's donkey? Balack was traveling where he wasn't supposed to go. The donkey saw an angel that was blocking the way and wouldn't go any further. Balack beat the donkey. Then God allowed the donkey to speak. It asked Balack why he was beating it when it was only trying to do what was right in heeding to the angel. Balack felt so bad. Is "Balack Obammy" a reference to a donkey? A donkey in the Bible is also referred to as a "ass". In modern times, a jackass. And the Democrat Party logo is that of a donkey.

What's the website? Not that I would want to go to a website of dirty sounding names, you know. ;-)

Well, it's official.
The RNC (Republican National Convention) has been postponed due to Hurricane Isacc.

Looks like it's pretty much missing Florida though and heading toward Louisiana and ALABAMA. Don't worry, S&K. Not expected to be another Katrina. Probaly won't even reach past New Orleans. If the Weather Forecaters are right. And we know they are always right. Right? Oh no.

The decent thing to do would be for Obama to open the door to the DNC (Democrat National Conference) and share the meetings with the Republicans that were scheduled to speak at the RNC. Boy, would that make him look good. He'd look like a savior. And it would make him look serious about his 2004 claims in the speech at the DNC -- the one about bringing Elephants (Republicans) and Donkeys (Democrats) together to work for the good of the people.

Yeah! The Bible, as I'm sure you know, has other examples of the key roles that animals have played in association with humankind. The rooster (called "cock" in the King James Version) that crowed 3 times as Peter denied he was Jesus' disciple. The talking and walking serpent in the Garden of Eden that talked Eve into eating the forbidden fruit. Many think that was Satan. The dove that flew a leaf back to Noah letting him know there waqs dry land after the flood. The whale that swallowed Jonah who waqs disobeying what God called him to do. The staffs that became serpents -- Moses' swallowed those of the 'wizards'. The ravens that fed Elijah. The four horses of the 'Apocalpse' in Revelation. The white horse that 'Jesus' is riding in the Battle Of Armageddon. The animals that went into Noah's ark 2 by 2. Even insects have their role in the Bible. Maybe even space aliens?! Well, it could be.

You took a class on prophecy. I have heard, on a TV show about Mormonism, that there is a Mormon prophecy of a "white horse figure" that will lead Americans to convert to be Mormons. Maybe Mitt Romney?! The prophecy says that the White House will be crumbled and the U.S. Constitution (or is it The Declaration of Independence) will be left hanging by a thread? And the safe place, if I remember it right will be the state of Missouri -- a New Jerusalem. Sounds like they believe America will be attacked or a natural disaster or something devastating on a national level. They say Romney has no comment. Hmmmmm.

I think they should throw out copies of the "Book of Mormon" from the stage at the RNC (Republican National Convention). For some reason, I keep thinking I'm going to see a commercial promoting the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

"Andy felt her bush". Oh. Okay. So, it's a reference to the female anatomy? Don't know why I didn't notice. Moses sure noticed the burning bush in the Bible story.

How is Balack a reference to race?

THE SHOW MUST GO ON.

It was postponed a day. But the RNC is back on despite Isacc. Thanks, Ishmael.

WOW!

I was able to watch a little of it earlier. The audience was gettin' down with the music. Those Republican women really can 'dance it up' a notch and then some. Even the older ladies were workin' the moves as well as the young ones.

The audience was given a chance to 'nominate' and a lot of "yes" happened. But then there was those that objected. Maybe Democrats or Ron Paul supporters.

Gotta go. Wanna see Gov. Mitt Romney get nominated. Even if he doesn't win the presidency, what's taking place now is part of American History. Hope I don't mss it.

What could possibly go wrong with the nomination? I saw a female state delegate on the news the other day and she is against him. What if the delegates don't all delegate?

Looking back at my comments to you yesterday to this reply quote regarding the "Book Of Mormon" and my later comment about Ishmael. I think they could be misunderstood.

When I said that they should throw copies of the "Book Of Mormon" out from the RNC stage, I meant that they should toss them into the audience and give them away for free. I don't want any of our Mormon readers to think I was saying to trash it.

And Ishmael and Hurricane Isacc. I was making a Biblical reference to Ishmael (Abraham's firstborn son)) and Isacc (Abraham's second son). Not meaning to imply any opposition between the Jews and the Arabs. Ishamael is also a character in a great "sea" story.

I realize people can be very sensitive over "religious" type comments. Misunderstandings always tend to abound.

Oh. And I think I should've said great fish about Jonah instead of whale.

Your comment on the only time a animal was ever a prophet? Balack's donkey. I got to thinking on that. In the Garden Of Eden story. God tells Eve something like that the Serpent shall bruise her heel but her seed (many believe Jesus) shall bruise his head. And then there are all the symbols of prophetic animals in the Bible's Book Of Revelation.

Funny. Meaning strange here. I doubt it if Romney's faith was ever mentioned YET from the stage of the RNC. Of course, they probaly don't want to make a deal out of it. Like John F. Kennedy's Catholic faith. But, given Mormonism's controversial stances throughout the years, like attitudes toward marriage, Indians, and Blacks, I would think they are running from it. Not that the Romneys believe that way. Of course not. To be honest, I'm surprised the news media isn't having a 'hey day' with it. Those weird Mormon beliefs. We know the creators of South Park sure did. In a cartoon episode and a broadway play. That will be real interesting to watch how that all plays out if Romney pulls way ahead of Obama in the coming weeks leading up to the Presidential Election. Will the news media go that low? And if they did, would Romney benefit from it in the public eye as though its religious persecution in a country where religious belief is protected under the First Amendment?

Was local news all over the country like this?!

Well, despite the long (very long) roll call of each state anouncing its support for 'The Romney' and it 'coming out' to be well over the total delegate votes needed to be the Republican nominee for President, I STILL DID NOT get to SEE the actual announcement of nomination. I kept waiting and waiting. Local news here in OHIO said they'd break in live and show it. They lied? Anti-Mitt? Funny too that it should happen like that! Especially since OHIO had 2 big name politicians speaking there at the RNC and helping to announce the delegate votes. Republican Governor John Kasich. And Republican Representative John Boehner who also happens to be the Speaker Of The House Of Representatives, a position so powerful that it is 3rd in line -- right after the Vice-President -- for the Presidency should anything ever incapacitate the President from being able to do his job. Oh, well.

But of what I did SEE and HEAR of the RNC's first day at the races looks very troubling ...

The Republicans seem to be trying to paint President Obama as someone who doesn't know what it's like to be successful in America on a personal level and someone who doesn't know what it's like to have to work hard for what you have and to earn it by the sweat of your brow.

What?! Do they realize what they are saying?! Do they realize how that will make them -- and Romney-Ryan -- look?! And how it may backfire and work against them?!

Barack Obama's life story is about personal success and working and earning what he got. He grew up without a father. His mother died of Cancer when he was young. His grandmother raised him. On top of all that he was born with the odds against him from the start. Born black in a time before Civil Rights was made into law in America. Not only that, but born half black and half white. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not playing the race card. He was raised poor. He studied hard. Got good grades. EARNED scholarships through his hard WORK studying and being a good student. Went to college. EARNED and WORKED hard to get his degrees. Became a teacher. EARNED it. WORKED hard for it. Became a politician. Was fortunate and lucky enough to be the first U.S. President of color. Do you really think his life was handed to him on a silver platter? He EARNED it. He WORKED for it. He BUILT it.

Yeah. Your local site? I just popped into your local site for a quick look. Is it the Huntsville, AL Forum or the Madison, AL Forum? Somewhere else? Checked out a few threads on Huntsville. Think I saw something about a Balack Obammy. Post location display didn't say Kenya though. I guess it's okay from a comedic standpoint in making a funny point (some of it seemed to be trying to expose white stupidity) but I'd hope people aren't really being prejudicial and racist on here. Hey, Saturday Night Live, in its early 1970s years, allowed audience participation on the show. Well, a old white woman sit down at the piano and performed a song in which she sung that she was going to kill all the black people or something to that effect. Guess what? They censored it. I'm pretty sure it was just comedy. But flash ahead to 2005 and Kayne West saying George W. Bush hates black people in regard to Hurricane Katrina and the media eats it up like hotcakes. Go figure. Isn't all this political correct stuff driving you nuts?

Hey, noticed Huntsville, AL Forum had a motherload of thread pages. Last year when I posted the 'are you okay' thread, and even this year when I posted you something on that thread, it hardly even had a whole 'Page 1' of threads. Maybe Topix is merging some of their smaller city threads with bigger cities. Then I took a "slide" to the Madison, AL Forum and it was small like Huntsville once was. A lot of Huntsville stuff in the thread titles too. Remember the numbers in the hundreds of users on the Los Angeles Forum? Still going down. Well, up in this case. LOL!!! Maybe something is up with all this. Maybe Topix is having technical difficulties. Seems like the Hillsboro, OH Forum shot up astronomically over the last year. Oh well, with all the things happening around us, perhaps these are mysteries better left not worried about.

Just came off from leaving a post on the "Who Can Beat Obama In 2012?" thread. Something's up at the Romney-Ryan Campaign Headquarters. Maybe you better read it. LOL!!! And noticed your post reply. Sometimes I think we may be on the same wavelength. Coming on about the same time sometimes. Maybe a type of psychic posting connection. HA!

The trolls. As, I'm sure you know, having the same post location display as the name of the city/town forum you are posting on allows trolls to fool the heck out of us with various grey user names. But that's not so easy to do when posting grey on a city/town forum having a name different than your post location display. I guess they could use a IP proxy or IP masking sofware. But I wonder if that IP stuff would still make the post location look blue and clickable. Registering and posting makes someone more recognizable when they're green. Unless they put in for a user name change. But being green lets users make their post location display what they want -- even a "Location hidden". I really believe Topix wold be bigger than Facebook if the mean trolls were not an issue. Here I am talking about the upper class green status and I'm only a lowly little grey guy. Hey, outlaw, come back down to the middle and lower claqss sometime and post grey with us -- LOL!!! Hey, we should sign up green like lastoutlaw. I can picture you all clean cut in your green jeans with a post location display of "South Park". Users say close to 600 on the Los Angeles Forum. Hope it's true. I always thought 100 was too few for a big city.

Funny thing. I doubt that it has anything to do with THIS thread. But not too long ago I was watching a few moments of the lovely Ann Coulter talkikng politics on a news show. And I'm pretty sure I can recall her saying that she has it from an "anonymous" source that questions if Obama was born in the U.S.A. or not and it made me wonder.

Speaking of the title of this thread. Condoleeza Rice spoke at the 2012 RNC (Republican National Convention) in Florida last night. In a post show news interview, she told the reporter, when asked about those who question the birth status of the President, that the 'Birther' movement is held by an EXTREME segment. You may know that I have a crush on her. There's something about Condi. I can't explain it. Pretty sure I mentioned it to lastoutlaw before. outlaw, by the way, has a crush on the beautiful Ann Coulter. But that statement kinda almost broke my heart into when I heard it. The Rice statement. I don't consider myself a 'Birther' or a political extremist. I may be a posting extremist at times. LOL!!! I can't speak for all those who posted on here but I was only posing a question that was on the minds, including my own, of millions of people around the world. And requesting the President to reveal the truth. All before he (Obama) came out with his long form birth certificate. I think Post #1 presents this thread as an objective piece of journalism. Wouldn't it be cool if Obama himself came on here. I do have an uncle though who does not believe Obama was born in America. Oh. Despite last night, I still have a thing for Miss or Ms.(not sure which one means SINGLE) Condoleeza Rice.

Where's lastoutlaw? I bet he's at the convention. Funny thing. Tonite Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney will be speaking and news said they'd be playing music sounding like a movie western shootout at the O.K. Corral. Hmmmmm. Nah. Mitt can't be outlaw. Could he? I have wondered if outlaw is really Obama being down on himself, though. LOL!!! Fess up. Or fess down. Just don't fess sideways. Heck, fess it up and down if you like. Just fess it!
