Let it go already. No need to pour salt on a wound. I knew both Hector and Bobby. Both guys would give you the shirt off their backs. They pursued their ambitions with 100% dedication, whether it be racing, education, the auto shop, fundraising, etc. Could better decisions have been made? Absolutely! But at the end of the day, two influential men who made a difference in people's lives in El Monte are no longer with us.

Well, one influential man made a difference in peoples lives, he visited a drug infested cartel owned town putting his wife and friends in danger. That's being educated? I pray for their souls, but call a ace an ace. No salt in the wound, just honesty. He had no business being there knowing full well that town was under curfew law because of the drug cartels killings.

Strange how such ambitious dedicated board members know that the superintendent and employees are using district credit cards for mis appropriations of funds, yet none of them did anything about it. The shirts didn't come off their backs to help pay back the district for funds that were spent. In fact the money has still not been paid back. Plasma tv's were bought, weddings were paid for, houses were painted, furniture was bought, receptions were paid for all out of district credit cards.

Los Angeles Times has an article about their mis appropriations of funds, it's time that el monte hit the news scene and the board members that knew, know and still approve spending should all be investigated.

About the only one safe on that board would be Cruz. Wonder how many receipts were turned in on behalf of esteemed memorialized board member and money was paid back for dinners and fun times. Problem is one fun time ended in a killing in mexico.

Board members were even reimbursed to attend retirement dinners. Wonder how many freebie dinners Barrios has received? All their signatures are on reimbursments to administrators and board members.

So stop already with the holier than thou. A crook is a crook no matter how you paint a pretty picture of what they are doing and no matter how you hide and keep quiet, the truth will come out one day.It will just take one good reporter to start investigating. A good story to be had here.

NOT MUCH!! I think the EMPD is hiding the truth from the public!! They would've asked the public for help IF they really didn't have anything! I'm sure the family knows what happened or else they also would be raising Hell!! Sounds like it was swept under the Carpet.(So it would'nt ruin his rep.) I guess it's all good if the Family is cool with it.. RIP Hector

I didn't know hector but his wife is such a caring and genuine person. Noone is perfect but that's no reason for ppl to talk shit about what they don't know. Mrs urias is such a great person I doubt she would have married a bad person. She nor his family deserve bad rumors.
