My name is Bob in 1993 Jason Rice, then a Colorado Buffaloes football player helped me. I was an alcholic and homeless. Jason took me in. He gave me shelter for 8 months, and loss many friends in the process. They thought he was crazy for helping me and inviting me to live with him. He helped me get a job at a gas station. I am now a west coast manager for that same company. I met up with Jason again in 2000 when he was then homeless. It was my turn then.
I have watched him twice rebuild his business through several tragedies. This is a great man and does not deserve to be slandered. Whoever did this is just "busy body" and a jerk.

I met this guy years ago he has often lectured at California venues on evolution vs. creationism. I am shocked to hear that he was negatively spoken of. He is the most down to earth guy you will ever meet. He is even open enough to tell you anything about his life, and humbly even speaks openly to schools and churches about mistakes in his youth. Jason Rice may be a lot of things. But he is not a
con or scam artist. Someone out there just can't stand what this guy stands for. Don't believe this
crap.

I was with Jason some time ago as a client and I can tell you this guy does nothing but puts his neck and life on the line for others. I never have met someone with so much fortitude and strength to have endured what he has. I wish Jason well.

This man saved my life. What kind of person would lie on JR? And who has time to sit around and gossip like that. What a joke these people are.

My sister lives in Santa Maria and drives past 4 gyms everyday, just to get to Agape Health and Fitness. She says she has never been treated so well in her life by a business. I recommend them to everyone on the Central coast. Hello everyone up North!

I have attended one of his Bible Studies. I agree he is an awesome speaker, and a very down to earth/loving person.

Whateeeeeeeeever! I have known this guy for years. Anyone who would talk bad about JR is an absolute idiot. This is a guy that sacrifices for everyone he meets. He is nice to a flaw and often finds himself in trouble trying to help people who do not want his help! God bless you "JR" wherever Nipomo is!

I agree with you. When he was on Green St, in Pasadena in 2003-4 he discounted my entire family after he found out that I lost my job. Somehow he found out before I told him. I really miss his training.

I think it's stupid for him to keep putting himself out there if he's going to keep getting screwed. On the other hand each person is free to make their own life!

Yeah I guess when someone is not a Christian it would be hard to understand. I have known J for sometime and what he does is try to help people "hoping" that they would not do to him what had been done before. One time he helped a family that told him they were broke. He later found at that they owned several homes, boats, and several businesses. He took a major loss. This is why I believe he has struggled in his businesses. He gives so much away that he can hardly handle his own bills. I know. He is a dear friend. I used to do his books.

I am a friend of Jason's mom. I have known their family over 40 years. No matter what Jason has been accused of I can tell you that he is a loving young man. His biggest fault is that he often puts himself in a hole helping others. I wish people gave back to him the way he gives out. I met his wife and she is very similar. Whoever is slandering him, or even if some of the statements are true; I guarantee you that these people got something from Jason more than
what they say he owes them.

God Bless you Wilatrel, David, Jason, and, Michiko

Jason uses to work at the Alhambra LA Fitness. He managed a training group called body of change. They fired the guy for trying to actually help clients. They claimed that he was spending to much time in his clients, because they switched from 1 hr to 1/2 hour sessions. How do you get fired for helping people? He knew his job was at risk but he did what he thought was right. I applaud him. He takes big risk for the sake of others and often loses out.

I am extremely curious after reading the negatives about this guy. Most everyone has been saying he was "slandered". Do any of you know how serious of a crime that is. Why won't he just sue whoever it is? That's what I would do.

It is very likely Jay has thought about it. But, its my guess he would say something like "The Lord will take care of it"! I have heard of Jay taking serious hits over the years and I have never seen him take revenge. I can say he has been seriously close a couple of times, but never has.

What I think is interesting, after reading all the comments, is that no one has really written negatively about this guy since the original sight. I checked on it last night and nothing has been said bad about him for a week. I think someone wanted to hurt him, so they started a topix list hoping it would carry for while. This guy obviously have done alot of good. We all make mistakes, but we all hope to end our life with more good than bad.

We are here in support of our former trainer. You know, all I know is that there are always two sides to every story. All I know about Jason is that he works extremely hard and is one of the sweetest guys I ever met. God's spees JR wherever Nipomo is.

I am a current client of Jason's at the Agape Gym. I can tell you clearly that this is the hardest working guy I have ever met. I am currently enjoying every ounce of training with him, and I would tell anyone that he is the best at what he does.

That's because the people or cowards. We all should just keep JR in prayer while he is trying to rebuild.
