ss marriage is an oxymoron.
What is funny is that it does exist, you just have your eyes closed to it.

It is legal, and recognized on the state and federal level regardless of your sitting in a dark room with your eyes closed.

VV, Jonah1 and Big D walk into a bar. The bartender says "Get the hell out of here".
Frankie rolled to a bar, but wasn't able to enter because there were no ramps.

He hired an attorney to sue the bar's owner. They were able to reach an agreement where Frankie received a lump sum of $150,000.

Frankie spent part of his money on a "Coca-Cola red" top of the line "Jazzy" scooter with a reclining, gel cushioned seat.

His friends and family are hopeful that Frankie's new "Jazzy" will inspire him to get out of the house and away from his fookin computer; you know the one, where he makes 15 comments every half hour.

I'm so glad this story has a happy ending.

If it doesn't annoy you, then why do you come here and argue?

You know what's really an oxymoron? A judgmental Christian pastor...

Your denial is only proved by your last statement. I'm not trying to be offensive, but a Bruce Willis look-a-like is disparaged by a down right scary ugly gander. Really???
YOU think you look like Bruce Willis?!? Are you SERIOUS?!?

I've seen a photo of you... You look more like an Ewok.

And I don't think Bruce has a vag.

Why would you demean yourself this way?

Religions are losing their appeal because their teachings and beliefs are being destroyed by their own 'sinning' members. They keep changing their beliefs and lowering their moral standards because that's the only way to keep members and their money coming in. Modern religions are now nothing more than money making businesses.

I don't argue, I simply point out reality.

I am a redeemed cynic who remains barbarian.

I sink the knife of reality to the hilt into the belly of denial and twist it with a smirk (just like Bruce Willis).

I kick at the darkness until it bleeds light.

This coming from the angry jackass who types 50 times the words I do each day. Priceless! Just priceless.

I pay my own way. I earned every dime. Every dime was taxed to death. I take nothing from you. I pay more taxes than you earn in a year.

No, dear, you missed my point...
If heterosexual marriages were scrutinized to the same degree that homosexual marriages have been, then many heterosexual marriages simply would not meet the "standard" that so many of the people in here say must be met in order to qualify for marriage.
Do you se what I'm saying?
The qualifications are simple. The parties must be of age, able to consent, not closely related by blood, not currently married, and of the opposite sex. You're operating from the position that personal same sex intimate sexual relationships are marriage, and are considered as such by a broad consensus. Thirty state bans say other wise.

But coming, more every year... National recognition was a very big step.

More and more large companies are piling on, they no longer want offices in states where their employees marriages are not recognized.

The pressure is on in every direction

Politically now that a majority of voters favor same sex marriage, the speed will escalate

Not everyone wants to work for Chick a Fill

I've been around the world and seen numerous cultures.

I love history and am well read.

I have devoted my life to marriage and family.

I have studied religions and am a man of faith.

I have studied mating behavior, sexuality and marriage.

I know marriage.

A ss couple in no way equates to marriage.

That discussion was about being agnostic, not homosexuality.

I simply question the sincerity of a long term agnostic. If you are sincerely searching for God and He doesn't respond, either He's not there, you're not knocking hard enough, or He isn't interested.

There's not any more options, is there?
