Federal prosecutors are out of control. They are seeking barbaric sentences for people growing and possessing a harmless and beneficial plant! Where do these slimeballs come from?

Yes. One can rightly condemn Big Government corruption since the Africans and their revolutionary White "Liberal" enablers took control. One cannot criticize the efforts of Obama's pal Holder, though, in his efforts to protect innocent little children from having their brains fried with mind rotting pot.

Despite revolutionary Council's efforts at back-door legalization - using the disingenuous back-door route of "regulation" - marijuana is not "medicine". Marijuana is a dangerous carcinogenic class 1 illegal drug that produces deadly second-hand marijuana smoke and which destroys minds. Let's give the Devil his due. On this issue, Obama and his pal Holder are **(as the Africans would put it)** "right-on."

Your rhetorical question makes a good point. Despite the fact that Big Government has laundered untold $millions of hard earned taxpayer money to wealthy Government licensed "researchers" who use their tax exempt NGOs to "prove" tobacco use is detrimental to health, Government has not named a single individual who has died from imaginary "secondhand tobacco smoke". The reason is because this Big Government enabled "research" helps satisfy the addiction of thieving politicians' and the regulatory agencies they have created for ever more money that is being stolen from decent worker **("middle")** class Americans who enjoy the simple pleasure of an occasional tobacco product.

On the other hand, foreign medical studies indicated as long ago as 2009 that research carried out The Department of Cancer Studies and Molecular Medicine and Karolinska Institute, Sweden, that the illegal plant Cannabis sativa, also known as marijuana, ganja, and various street names, that marijuana smoke damages DNA. This damage has the effect of enabling the development of cancers among our zonked-out pot using friends.

This study - not surprisingly - uses the usual Hollywood version of the "Hitler" effect that has been invented as a result of previous US tobacco "studies" as a point of comparison. While more credible than US Government tax and control related US tobacco studies, it is likely the pot study was also in some way connected to taxpayer money just as our own Big Government uses tax and control related tobacco "studies" as justification for robbing decent tobacco users blind.

Even so, this study is quite revealing. It found that the DNA damage caused to zonked out potheads results in cannabis smoke damaging DNA. Researchers noted that the ability of cannabis smoke to damage DNA has significant human health implications, especially as users tend to inhale more deeply than cigarette smokers, which increases the burden on the users' respiratory system. The study noted that the smoking of 3-4 cannabis cigarettes a day is associated with the same degree of damage to bronchial mucus membranes as 20 or more tobacco cigarettes a day.

Researchers concluded that their research provide evidence for the DNA damaging potential of cannabis [marijuana] smoke, implying that the consumption of cannabis cigarettes may be detrimental to human health with the possibility to initiate deadly cancer development.

How about some CREDIBLE evidence! Cannabis IS medicine and has been used as such for over 3,000 years. Tell that crap to a chemotherapy or transplant patient who has a decent quality of life because of cannabis! Why do you and your right wing nutjob budies want people to suffer unnecessarily?

Because, as a means of facing up to our adult responsibilities, we must think of what is best for the children, rather than just mouthing meaningless and disingenuous platitudes as the corrupt political/legal revolutionary ruling class does?

One of the myths used by the Cain Satanic seed line people to destroy us and to destroy the minds of our children is that mind-rotting pot is "medicine". Nothing could be farther from the truth. In fact, "medical" Marijuana is known to be a primary cause of cancer. Marijuana is not "medicine".

Personally I could give a rats ass about the 'children.' You people make me want to puke with your 'its for the children' bullshit! People are suffering unnecessarily! What the hell is the matter with you people? I have no dog in this fight but I have seen a close friend of mine have a decent quality of life thanks to medical cannabis. Your paranoia about some mythical 'revolutionaries' is moronic at best! You are the one using disingenuous platitudes to justify your sadistic philosophy!'Revolutionary ruling class?' I think not just compassionate people trying to offer those suffering from cancer, transplants and other procedures a decent quality of life. If those are just 'platitudes' to you then I feel sorry for you and your fellow travelers!!

Yes. You are right. Those who missed the revolution must have been smoking "the good stuff" during the 60s 70s. It certainly wasn't mind sharpening tobacco.

Yes. Although sources were provided that link Marijuana smoking to the development of cancer, perhaps you missed it. That is understandable. Whereas tobacco smoking tends to increase mental acuity, pot smoking has the opposite effect.

I don't suppose it would do any good to restate source material links, but if you are able to grab hold of your senses long enough, perhaps you would find an article describing how Marijuana use affects the brain interesting. Here is a link to an interesting investigative study describing how pot use affects the brain:

I'm still waiting for a NAME of someone that has died as a direct result from cancer caused directly by cannabis use...I WANT FACTS! not some scientific crap wrote to suit someone's agenda. how much clearer can I be? who said I use cannabis anyhow? one should never assume...I just happen to look at things this way-what you put into your body is your business. as long as it's not affecting others around you and you have your own opinion of what your doing to yourself, than so be it. why can't people just mind their own business anymore? seriously, we all know cannabis when was made illegal in 1937, it wasn't for health reasons. If you believe otherwise, you're a fool. we have been lied to so much by our government. the flouride in my drinking water has more serious side effects than cannabis could ever have on my body. alcohol is far more deadly, yet legal. I haven't seen any zombie apocalypse where cannabis was legalized or any serious spike in dui's or accidents either. I have lost many friends to pills prescribed to them. I just cant figure out why people continue to fight against this losing battle called the war on drugs. It seems to ma asif the only people that dont want it legalized are with private prison complexes, pharmaceutical companies, big alcohol, and of course, big tobacco.

guitarman16226.

Yes. I agree. "legal" Government drugs are, on the whole, far more dangerous than most illegal drugs. Of course that is not saying much. Since Big Government seized control of Big Medicine and the Big Government drug industry, Big Medicine has become among the leading causes of death - perhaps THE leading cause of death. Many illegal drugs may be addictive, but the death and debility rate resulting from their use is far less than that of Government approved drugs and Government medical care "mistakes". Not so with Marijuana.

Marijuana is a dangerous addictive Class 1 illegal drug that destroys the minds of users. In addition, the pot - schizophrenia link has been well established in the literature.

One of the symptoms of pot addiction is lethargy. For example, pot addicts might demand non-pot users do the research necessary to provide information about death and debilities caused as a result of addiction to this mind rotting noxious weed when they could just as easily do the research themselves. I always advise them to check into an expensive taxpayer funded Government rehabilitation facility. It is, perhaps, already too late to save their minds, but - ever the optimist - I am always hopeful that the desire to take upon themselves the search for truth will motivate them to "dry out".**(so to speak)**
