Seriously. Didn't anyone catch her License Plate?
I can't believe she had a guts to hit that person and just run off. I know I am an asian, but dark hair. wouldn't be surprising if she was asian. I shouldn't be saying that when I am one of the asians. This days people drive recklessly. I pour out my heart towards the guy and his family. No matter what even though he was crossing illegally where there is no crosswalk he still has the right of way. If she really doesn't know the rule of driving here is one of the rules...people who are walking on foot has a right of way always!!!Top of that if you hit a person with a car. STOP!!!! and then you might get less of the punishment. Don't you think so. If anybody finds her or knows her license plate number turn her in. Don't show her mercy. She killed someone. I hope nothing happens to the person who drove the Audi because he just ended up being there at a wrong time. He at least pulled over to see what happened. I also pour out my heart towards him. I hope there will be no fee or punishment for him.

I am with you Shania. She should face life in prison, but if she stayed and called for help the victim might have higher chance to survive. Also, she wouldn't face a life in prison, but she has made a wrong choice by chosing to run away so she can live. This proves how our people are so self centered. I'm all in that she should be in jail forever. No matter how busy or in rush you are you should take the responsibility of how you are driving. Who the heck gave her a license anyways...? I am an asian also, but I try to be more considerate to others when I drive.

I drove by the scene moments after it happened. I was wondering why someone would be crossing such a wide street after dark in the middle of the block. Today's "Gossip" is that the victim had been drinking which might explain why he was where he was. Either way, he was actually at fault for the accident. BUT, nothing excuses her actions. She was probably intoxicated too and panicked. Had she stopped, she could have been cleared of any wrong doing.

I drove by this scene after a class in Canoga Park. I saw the body covered with a white sheet in the eastbound lanes. Cops everywhere. My first thought was probably a happy hour person running back to his/her car from an area food business but that is just speculation, period. I did not know it was a hit n run. It was dark out and I do not think the body was near a cross walk or a street corner although it may have been. I was not paying that much attention.

Whoever hit the man must have some recolection of the impact wheather they realized it at the time or later noticed car damage, etc.

The hit and run suspect likely lives and/or works near the location. Hopefully they do the right thing and turn themselves in. I think the law will be very hard on them if they wait to be caught. Maybe they will never be caught and nobody will ever know who hit the dead man. Except for the suspect.........I don't know how a person could ever have a peaceful mind keeping a secret like that for the rest of their lives.

I hope they do the right thing and come clean. I am sure most people and courts would forgive a scared person leaving the scene of a horrible crash like this.......... if they turned themselves in promptly.

I too drove by the scene, and saw the man covered by the sheet lying in the middle of Ventura Blvd. I live in the neighborhood and found it very distressing. I seriously hope they find who did it or perhpas this person finds their conscience and turns herself in.
My prayers go out to the family.

I was in the woodland hills area(Raphls parking lot to be specific), The man was crossing the road and he had the right of way. There is a signal at place where he was hit.The car ran the red light and hit the man.He died right away.
The man was thrown 10 feet away and died instantly.I saw when he got hit and thrown 10 feet away. The car was being chased by the CHP car.The person who hit the poor man should face murder charges
