Broken hearted wrote: <quoted text> I understand you support this person but you know something.....he took away my life and soul with him! Just remember there is a justice and he will be the one to judge your so call " Cope". Life and soul huh...what if "your" life and soul was successfull in beating down a man that was just there to have a drink. What if "your" life and soul had a gun or knife on him and had killed Mr. Copeland. I don't think you would be blogging on here. All I see is one less A-HOLE who couldn't handle his liquor. He got liquid courage and because his friends were around, he thought he can beat somebody up. Well, the joke is on "your" life and soul now. I bet his friends will be on the hunt for Mr. Copeland now. All because some A-HOLE's couldn't handle theri liquor.

May God be with you! I'm not sure you understood what REALLY happened. The guy was a gang-bang thug who just got out of jail and had a rap sheet. I happen to know Alex very well - comes from a GREAT family, and he was being chased by five guys in the bar (he wasn't even doing anything). He tried to get away, and this guy opened his car door (while the car was moving) and tried to pull him out. He was scared for his life, and we really can't judge a person for just driving as fast as he could - perhaps he thought the gang-bang thugs were following him. Anyway, "hit and runs" are NOT taken lightly; hence, the authorities had good reason to let Copeland walk. Again, if it was my son ... he could have dragged the thug all the way to my front porch. I don't want anyone to be killed, but let's face it, thugs like this guy sometimes get what they deserve. Rather argue over the internet, I'd just ask you to use common sense. If your mother was being accosted by five men as she was leaving the store, would you blame her if she shot a man who was trying to beat her up? Thing about it.

The last thing I want is to argue with someone like you!But you know something he was no thug nor gang banger! I know really good.....he was my boyfriend! You really ought to know what really happened before you start judging or assuming things that you're not sure about. Regardless, that guy Copeland will always going to have that on his councious, that he killed someone so like I said before, May God be with you and your Copeland!
