Sorry that Sun Valley is too far for you to travel, but it is certainly not a "barrio." I am a vendor at this Swap Meet and although it is not in the best neighborhood, it is FAR CLEANER than the Woodland Hills Valley Indoor Swap Meet or anything else that is around. There is new tile, new paint and the place is CLEAN. I sell DVDs, CDs and Video Games and due to my closeout prices, they are willing to travel from West Hills, Encino just to come to my store! There is also an "ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET" which will be opening up in 2 months which will be serving Thai, Mexican, Mediterrean, Italian, etc. for only $9.95!!!

Bless all that stayed in there. Someone should post a banner at the old location in Woodland Hills
to let drive by customers know The new location Called Indoor Shopping Plaza Vineland & Sherman Way. I did not see any note Posted????? Go for it. The owners of the VISM are telling
customers to go to Panorama Meet.

I second the above comment. I drove out to Woodland Hills this afternoon and was surprised to see the swap meet was gone. I circled the parking lot looking for a "Moved To" sign, but all I saw was the graffiti that's already starting to cover the building.

Thanks for the heads up on the new location, which is actually a lot closer to Sherman Oaks (and no freeway - yay). I'll be stopping by tomorrow...

I went to the old location twice already, hoping to find a sign of the new location or any information at all...-i didnt even know the Swap Meat was going to move so I was shocked to find it closed and couldn't imagine what happened.
Thanks for the info, as far as I understand the new location is Vinelad & Sherman Way then.
Someone should really post a banner at the old location! Im 100% sure lot of people are wondering where the new location is...

I am still wondering if anyone is going to give the address or just keep me guessing. It's just like the news stories on t.v. "next, next, " and then they don't tell you until the very end. I am sorry but I guess the vendors don't want our business. I have a whim to go but wont spend the whole time looking for the address. This much trouble and now my whim is gone. Oh well! when will L.A ever learn?

Wow its funny how people are scared to go somewhere even if its the best place to shop. I just found the new location, shopped and talked to many of the vendors. This place is going to be way better than the old crappy valley swap meet. The building is newly remodeled, has security, and the bathrooms (at least the womens is extremely clean). Not all the old vendors are there but the new ones have some incredible deals and its way closer to me now. Don't judge this place by the location only because its whats on the inside is what counts.
Here is the info for all that don't know where it is.
