Are you aware of the fact that COINTELPRO also destroyed the KKK?

I had greater respect for your Malcolm X because he knew you blacks shouldn't be around us Whites & other races & rightly so because you feral gutter apes rape, rob & pillage without remorse thus making the decent, hard working coloreds like him look bad, I had even more respect for that ugly black Marcus Garvey because he knew to spare you wild negroe beast a prolonged death at our hands he needed to relocate you ghetto monkeys back to Africa in one piece, too bad his plan failed because you animals still infest America, now the skunk I never liked & was glad the great White warrior James Earl Ray ended his reign of forced integration & other assorted crimes against humanity was that exceptionally large lipped, jack legged, fornicating commie inspired, pathetic excuse for a man of the cloth Marchin Loofer Coon who was by far the ugliest gorilla on this planet & good riddance to that dead n!@@er.

"Only problem was his goal had a singular focus".

So he also had a "problem"!

You cannot build a nation within a nation,

All Blacks in the world don't think alike.

Africans are ruled by tribal ties, NOT color.

As the old Negro Gospel song said,"I've got six months to mind my own business, and six months to leave yours alone".

Not really. In fact, the KKK was veryctive well into the 1970s & 80s. In parts of Alabama during the 1980s they even devloped something similar to military camps. I actually saw them in Mississipi, while still a studeent, armed wi ilitary weapons. There ws never anything ike the war on the Black Movement, and especially the Black Panther Party, inflicted on the KKK by te US government. Nothing like the assassinations of Freed Hampton and Marx Clark.
Indeed, it was the Black Panther Party, not the KKK, which J. Edgar Hoover publicly claimed to be the "greatest threat" to the internal security of the USA.He even regarded the Panthers as m dangerous than the Communists!

The Black Movemet not only created a wave of popular Black insugency, but inspired a wave of youth, Latino and Women liberationist insurgency as well. Much of the radical student activism had its roots in Civil Rghts insurgency. Mario Savio, one of the best known leaders of the Berkeley Free Speech Movement, was initially part of the Mississippi Freedom Summer of 1964. One year later he's involved in the a student ovement and using skills he learned in the Black Movement.
Our movement, the activism of our 1960s forbears, sought ultimately not only OUR liberation, but ultimately the liberation of EVERYONE.

<quoted text> Th. I actually came a across that book, COLLECTIVE COURAGE, while visiting an old lefty bookstore. Have to wait for pay day to get a copy, however. If you're ever in Baltimore, Md. try to check out a bookstore café called RED EMMAS. Also, look up BLACK CLASSICS PRESS run by Paul Coates, former leader of the Baltimore chapter of the Black Panther Party. You know, my mom started buying the Panther newspaper after Dr. King was murdered. Sometimes she and her more "conscious" church sisters would raise money and even cook stuff for the BPP breakfast program. Now that former Bmore BPP leader has recently gotten out of prison, I'm trying to discuss with him how much of the Panther program might still be useful.
Yes, the Panther, SNCC and others did advocate cooperatives King supported such efforts under the leadership of sister Fannie Lou Hamer. Robert Allen proposed cooperatives as part of the revolutionary process in his book called BLAK AWAKENING IN CAPITALIST AMERICA, and way back in 1940 W.E.B. Du Bois was advocating cooperatives in his book entitled DUSK OF DAWN (in chapter called "The Colored World Within"). This legacy should be continued.
As time permits, I am going forward with coops. My own mom was involved. And I plan to continue the legacy. But I need help from others. And I do get some help from others. But most of my helps comes from Muslims who are not even blacks. There is far too much apathy among blacks. And far too much talk and no action

I have concluded that the most effective coop at this time is a Credit Union. One reason I selected the Credit Union format is the need to raise a huge sum of money to invest in such projects as desert reclamation in Africa. I expect the Pan-Africanist Credit Union to spread all across the country to every neighborhood in which Africans live.

Another coop or beneficiary of the Credit Union Project will be Afrodollar Clubs. Afrodollar will enable anyone who wants to join to become a member of the Credit Union. Afrodoallar came about as a result of the need to define field of membership to meet federal law. In other words, the law has set up certain limitations to prevent coops from competing with capitalism. One of them is to prevent Credit Ujnions from competing with private banks. Nevertheless, once we get the coops going we can expect help and support from international coop associations. It is interesting to note that the USA is the ONLY industrialized countries that does not already have a coop association. We have to link with those in Europe and in Africa. The USA is much too backwards and reactionary to allow a coop association in the country.

As I said Afrodollar is one way to get around the limitations that the government has on Credit Unions

Yea accomplished nothing but the removal of the black wealth from the black community.
"The philosophy of Black Nationalism involves a re-education program in the Black community in regards to economics. Our people have to be made to see that any time you take your dollar out of your community and spend it in a community where you don’t live, the community where you live will get poorer and poorer, and the community where you spend your money will get richer and richer.
If we own the stores, if we operate the businesses, if we try and establish some industry in our own community, then we’re developing to the position where we are creating employment for our own kind. Once you gain control of the economy of your own community, then you don’t have to picket and boycott and beg some cracker downtown for a job in his business."
-- El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz/Malcolm X, "The Ballot or The Bullet" speech in Cleveland, Ohio on April 3, 1964.
As long as so-called "black nationalism" limit itself to the USA it will never succeed. As I just pointed out in regards to Credit Unions and Afrodollar, the government does all it can to prevent progress along this line. Therefore, we have no real choice but to take a page from Malcolm X and take it to the world stage. In other words, "black nationalism" is bankrupt. Pan-Africanism the only solution. Under Pan-Africanism when the USA government messes with us, we take it to Africa, to Asia, to the UN. But "black nationalism" limits itself to getting permission from the white man. For example, "black nationalists" of the past have asked the KKK to cooperate with their projects. Pan-Africanism will never ask the white man for permission.

You must be white? No wonder you understate the genius of Malcolm X and his grasp of global issues. This is a man who intended to go to the U.N. General Assembly and charge the U.S. with violating the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. He also sought to link AA struggles into the greater struggles of Afrikan people worldwide at the time.He recognized that while AAs were only 22 million in the US, they were not a minority worldwide Only problem was his goal had a singular focus.
That punk probably is white. See, I have to deal with this type crap multiple times each day. This is why I have developed the need to use harsh language. If I do not tel them where to get off they will worry me to death with such non-sense as that. When they get too far out of line I tell them to kiss my butt and put them on IGNORE. There is only so much I c an take and keep my sanity.

Are you talking about me or OP? I am trying to avoid criticizing OP today. Now here you come trying to instigate something. You want me to say that OP is nothing but a big mouth who talks all the time but never does anything except urinate on the sidewalk during "occupy". But I will not take your bait. Instead, I will merely point out that not only did my mom organize coops I have been active on one level or another my entire adult life. The only down time, if you could call it that, was when I had to keep my children at home to protect them from "gay rights". My latest contributions have been the Pan-Africanist Credit Union and Afrodollar projects as well as a new Masjid in my capacity as a Muslim minister. The Masjid will open its basement to the Credit Union, Afrodollar and the Convention People's Party in North America ( http://conventionpeoplesparty.org/ ) The reason I have been trying to avoid criticizing OP is because it is a principle of mine to avoid unnecessary conflict. For one thing I need his help and have asked for it repeatedly. But you will notice that every time I ask him to get off his sorryassss and do something worthwhile and positive by helping me in my work, he responds with SILENCE. But that is not meant as a criticism. It is merely stating obvious facts.

Passing laws didn't change attitudes. Racism still exist; except now Racism is more covert.

What is so Civil in fighting for Rights that someone else has given you?

Begging the whites to be accepted. Striving to show whites that we are just as good as they are. Putting on the continuance of a minstrel show to gain notoriety from the white race. Moving into their neighborhoods to be accepted. Going to their schools to be accepted.....ETC.. Yet; never gaining growth nor prosperity by developing our own.

Growth comes from self; not the approval of others.

I often wonder is segregation was better for blacks. When left to our own devices we built Black wall street that made whites jealous of us.

Now we just give our money to whites and Asians without a second thought.

It is the primary reason I do not have to live so confined a life as my father did.
Hey, b-word, what do YOU think about that Nazism going on over there right next to France in Europe? why have YOU been so silent?
