For all the ones who felt the need to share your negative input.Know this is a situation that happens to anybody regardless of race. I'm sure u drink and drive more than u think. Or if not u, a loved one close to u. Instead of judging my brother for an eyeflashing decision he took, his 29 years of his life in reality truly makes who he is. He's a devoted hard working Mexican who recently became a citizen of the U.S. who chose to serve this country unaware his journey in the military would change his life forever. Don't judge him for that one minute of his life but for the 29 years he's shown to be a good person. UNDERSTAND it happens to anybody. Our family keeps the couple and their kids in our most deepest prayers. For my family- Keep faith in God we'll get through this. For you Sergio you've been a great brother for 29 years a minute of your life doesn't change the great person you're known to be those who were fortunate to have u in their lives.

Im sure that your brother is a good person, but he made things worse by leading LAPD in a pursuit. Ok, let's say your brother drove drunk, but once the police tried to pull him over, why didn't he PULL OVER? What's worse is that RAN A RED LIGHT, KILLED 2INNOCENT PEOPLE THAT CAME TO THIS COUNTRY TO PROSPER and then, tried to flee the scene, it was his choice to make this situation worse. I would have much rather gotten that second DUI on my record, than the fact that I killed 2 innocent people because I didn't want to pull over! He made all those choices. I understand that this is hard on you and your family, but can you imagine those kids in Mexico. They had just had their LAST conversation with their parents just minutes before this happened. How can anyone take all that lightly? Would you if the shoe were on the other foot? I DOUBT IT!!! Your brother wasn't the only one that people were bashing, the DECEASED couple were disrespected too because they were illegal. Im sorry, but I can't have any compassion for your brother's DEADLY choices. I do, however, feel for you and your family, but at least you guys will get to talk to him and see him when you visit him. These kids will have to grow up without their parents, hopefully, God gives their grandmother health so that she can at least raise them until they become adults.

I definitely think they should pay a greater price for their DUIs. The two or ten or seventeen days they spend in jail is not much of a deterrent for their stupid and irresponsible behavior. To their credit however, they did not murder two people as part of a repeated offense. This guy is not a drunk anymore, he's a murderer. There's a big difference. I hope he never sees the outside world again. He is not a person you pity, he's a piece of garbage that you should be thankful has been swept off the public streets.
