Because the gay men lead a filthy lifestyle. It is unnatural for a man to stick his penis in another mans hairy crap filled butt hole and thrust in and out. No wonder the freaks are getting sick.

Why do lesbians have so much fewer instances of stds? Because they must be gawd's chosen people.

Why don't you similarly rail about AIDS being overwhelmingly a heterosexual disease worldwide, and about how nasty those heterosexuals are? Why don't you similarly get worked up about people who smoke and get cancer? Because you merely have extreme, psycho-sexual issues around _male_ homosexuality.

The article is very badly written. It doesn't even mention the strain of meningitis involved, nor give any data on preventive measures. Neither does it place the issue into context. It's really an anti-gay piece masquerading as news.

A more balanced approach to the subject of communicable meningitis, interestingly from the same venue as the topic article:

Of course. Most "news" is nothing more than a commercial for the government. Stories like this are invented to scare people so the government can use that fear to increase its power over our lives and to increase taxes to pay for it. It is like all those drug cops pretending they are waging a war on drugs. When people are scared they let the scumbags in government get away with the expansion and control they have over our lives. And of course increasing taxes to pay for it.

No. It means that there is an anti-gay fundie writing for the AP. Probably more, and will increase in numbers.

Regent University is turning out more than just fundie lawyers and legislative assistants..
