Valley Hospital to Pay $500,000 to Settle Skid Row Dumping Case
Another case of alleged patient dumping in Skid Row has been documented and settled. Although San Fernando Valley-based Pacifica Hospital of the Valley did not admit wrongdoing, it has agreed to pay $500,000 to area homeless service agencies, and will adopt a new set of patient release protocols.
