Lets no forget the mayor cheated on his wife not once but twice, he based his whole foundation on family values and he had sex with another women when his wife had CANCER. Is the man you want for mayor. The man who walked away from his wife and children for a younger women only to destroy her career.

If he wins this election then I think the votes need to be checked to make sure that American's voted for him not his 40% of Illegal Immigrants in his community.

Do you the taxpayer enjoy paying out of your pocket for two bodyguards to watch the mayor. What is he so afraid of that he is charging you $60,000 per bodyguard.
Make the right choice and dont vote for a man who is not for you!

The Mayor has been dragging his feet, confirmed by your assessments. He has done nothing to bring more citizens into the process of governing the city; witness his complete lack of real backing of the charter reform Neighborhood Councils. The land use in the city is horrendous - witness increased density without enough space to breathe and an increasing issue with lack of water. And it takes 4 years to study noise at an airport?!
We don't have the cops promised, and yet my trash collection is becoming more and more expensive.
He has not debated against his challengers - they are officially on our ballot - they deserve at least one debate. Contrary to his own opinion, he is not King of the city.
He has not committed to serving his next term.
Don't get me started!

Ever wonder why he acts like he's already won?? Well he has, the votes are already cast! He's just waiting till Tuesday to pull them out and say "hey I won"!Now then, I just wonder if we did a real tally of the votes opposed to the legal votes who would win??? We already know he's a cheat, liar, a gangster and a crook. And who other than an illegal with a lack of intelligence who vote for this scum bag?

He promised to make LA "nokill" for animals. Euthanasia did not go down at all during his first year. Euthanasia has gone up in the past year.
He said "elephants do not belong in the zoo" yet he is for keeping elephants in the zoo and even breeding them. One elephant Gita died in the zoo during his term. If he'd sent her to a sanctuary, she would probably still be alive today.
He said he would make new buildings use green technology. During his term he took solar power out of the new animal shelters to save money.
He campaigned on the platform that he's a family man that supports family values, yet he cheated on his wife, with a reporter, who reported the story on the news. This was the second time he cheated on his wife.
He stated that he will not tolerate alcohol abuse in his office, yet he himself frequently abuses alcohol, in public even.
And don't forget, this man took the bar exam four times, and failed. He never passed the bar exam. He is a career politician.

He said he would cut the fat in city hall, yet he increased his mayoral staff 30% over Hahn's number.

Well, I agree with you with the exception that the Alcalde, Greasy Tony, El Mayor La Raza is going to win.

His promise about animals. On video he said "the zoo is no place for elephants."

from his old campaign site:

"A More Humane Zoo: I will demand better conditions and treatment for animals at the Los Angeles Zoo. As a member of the Los Angeles City Council I have pushed the Los Angeles Zoo to improve facilities and treatment for its elephants, and I called on management to ensure completion of bondfunded improvements on time and on budget. I understand that zoos may not be appropriate homes for certain wild animals and will work with zoo management to make those tough decisions."

Didn't happen. Gita died. Billy is going crazy in the zoo. The agreement for expansion of the elephant enclosure happened before he became Mayor. He did nothing.

"Plan to Make LA Animal Friendly
"It has been said that how a society treats animals is a measure of how it treats people. By that standard, L.A. is in trouble on both counts. I want to see a Department of Animal Services that does everything it can every day to increase spay and neuter, increase adoption, improve conditions in its shelters and eliminate euthanasia as a major component of public policy in this city."

-- Antonio Villaraigosa

Euthanasia didn't go down first year. In the last year it's gone up.

and more. Here were his main promises from his old campaign site. He missed them all.

My Vision for LA

Plan for a Safer LA-crime seemed to go down as they changed how they reported crime. They stopped including domestic violence as a violent crime when it is the number one violent crime. Crime is now going up
Plan for a Greener LA-new buildings were not green
Plan for a City of Parks & Greenways-he fired park rangers
Plan to Build Affordable Workforce Housing-he approved luxury lofts only
Plan for Cleaning House at City Hall-he's dirtier than Hahn
Plan for the Valley-he's done nothing to help the valley
Plan for Homeland Security-he fired disaster response people
Plan for a Healthy City-fewer hospitals, still not health insurance
Plan to Get Traffic Moving Again-traffic is worse
Plan to Make LA Animal Friendly-more animals are dying in the shelters

I love animals they're delicious. Let's have an elephant BBQ and save the $$ for the new enclosure.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa also took his security detail, but that's no surprise. His detail even accompanied him on vacation this summer, fly fishing in Iceland.

Mayor Villaraigosa has done and continues to do a fantastic job as Mayor of LA. It sure sounds good to hear the Mayor say all these wonderful things about our great city. What a contrast to that of his Republican opponents who are constantly trashing the Great City of Los Angeles, the State of California and the greatest nation in the world, the US of A. The only thing the Republicans have left is the local talk radio Rush wannabes and the DRUG DEALING "RUSH" HIMSELF. Yikes!

Keep up the great work Mr. Mayor. You've got my vote. Oh and my wife's.

Everyone knew in 2005 that we were headed for a recession. What did the Mayor do to prepare? Cut expenses? Not approve huge salary increases? Save more money? Nope. He bought expensive suits, shoes, wine and ate foie gras, on our dime. When asked about his favorite restaurants, most weren't even in Los Angeles. He only spent 11% of his time on the job. Most of the time he was campaigning for other politicians or vacationing with developers. He approved huge salary increases for union members. He hired more mayoral aides. He gave his friends raises. Now he will have to fire people to try to narrow the huge budget gap.

Wake up.

Villagairosa is a "california" democrat.

As such, he never pretended to have the slightest concern for the citizens or the City.

NEVER confuse a demonic "calif" Democrat with a proud patriotic American Democrat!!!!

Vira has done so many disgusting things that has drawn my ire, but the worst by far was to blame a innocent gopher (" Peaches " ) for his outrageous DWP Water bill, when confronted by a newspaper. A grown man acting like a child.

This paper has given a half fast endorsement to Villar and here is their scorecard. Not even a "D" the way I grade it. We must vote against this man by voting for anyone else on the ballot next Tuesday. If Walter Moore is elected he has to do better, even if it is just by being able to locate the mayor's office. I bet Villar couldn't identify the door to his office if shown it in a lineup of door photos.

A vote for Moore is not wasted and how can you say that he is not qualified? This bogus rating doesn't really say much about Villar and even if Moore doesn't work out we get a chance to correct the problem in 4 years. I’ll take that chance rather than risk 4 more of Villar, which he may not even finish if he finagles his way to Sacramento. There is only one thing worse than Tony V as Mayor and that would be Tony V as Governor.

I just received a phone message from Tony. He starts off with his name then states " I would be honored " for my vote ! This man has bankrupt our city before the meltdown . If you vote for Tony ! you vote for new and higher taxes, and get nothing in return .
