I a gay Mormon and I am planning to ask for a
ex-comunication. I have always backed and even payed my tithing to the church. This whole "hate money" is a really big blow to my beleifs. I have one question. How can a church ask for seperation from State yet back a political movement. To all the Mormons out there that feel as I do I urge you to write your bishops and say shame on them. To the LDS church you are preaching hate...what a christian thing to do.

Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

And Oh Yeah, watch out for those Greeks and their Gift Horses and that freaking Cyclopes... they can be a bitch too.

Can you imagine the outrage if "Jewish" were substituted for "Mormon?" People could them much easier see the fascism and hate that are behind homosexual "marriage."
No significant percent of the homosexual population has "married" in ANY country that allows it. This all has precious little to do with anyone "marrying!"
We protest any church that tries to restrict civil rights. You can substitute any religion for Mormon and it won't sound worse.

Now, substitute any other minority for homosexual in your post and see your real hatred.

Bravo, my friend! You have taken a step in the right direction. Why in the world would any gay person belong to a church that says they are basically evil? Religion is a sham. Let's do what we can to make our lives better HERE and NOW, not in some imaginary heaven (or in some imaginary hell). Why would anyone give money to an organization like this? Religion is the scourge of this earth. RELIGION should be outlawed. What was the root cause of 9-11? Religion. Face the facts. And do what you can to make this world better in the here and now.

Speaking as a Jew, if I saw a major Jewish synagogue participating in the kind of bigotted behavior that the Mormon Church does, I would feel very ashamed. However, if you consider your history, you may find that we Jews know what is like to be persecuted and have our rights taken away by small-minded bigots so this is unlikely to happen. Please don't compound your anti-gay bigotry by trying to pretend that your situation is one that we would copy. By implying that Jews would be forgiven for engaging in the kind of behavior that we escaped in Europe is an insult to Jews everywhere.

Only this round. The fight will not be over until equal marriage rights are had by all. We will not lie down. We will not be oppressed. We will never surrender our rights.

No, we have suffered a set-back. This only delays the day the anti-gay crowd will have to admit that they were wrong from the beginning.

I hope you lose your job, healthcare benefits and anything else that you share with someone that would be married to you!!!! If you did not have your blinders on you would realize that it WAS the church that instigated the PEOPLE to vote for PROP 8. Both you and the church should equally feel the abuse that you "christian" idiots did in attacking a civil issue and NOT a religous one.

Hey, Tom, I am disgusted by the fact that as a taxpayer, I am asked to subsize the Mormon Church adn all these other Christian churches, through a tax exempt status. You, and others of your ill, are just jackasses!

Vuck the filthy dirty "good christain" sheeple.

We must take our lives the SCOTUS. And with OBama already stating GLBT citizens should have equal rights, OBama should stand up for us.

One more thing, I'm vucking delighted the filthy dirty "good christain" sheeple are:

1. loosing their houses.
2. loosing their jobs.
3. loosing their retirement savings.
4. and their kids are dead from george's revenge war.

My constitutional rights will no longer be decided by the filthy dirty "good christain" sheeple (white, black, brown, purple).

Obama was very influential in helping seal the fate of gays & lesbians regarding Proposition 8 in California, and the anti-gay amendment that passed in Florida.

After reading below what Obama did, how Obama sold gays & lesbians up the river, how Obama fanned the flames of hate that many blacks feel toward gays & lesbians just to get more votes, is it any wonder that 70% of black voters voted against gays & lesbians in California and Florida.

Obama should be ashamed of himself. Such strategies are right out the Karl Rove playbook, Obama’s strategy was even worse than Rove’s…….please read below for yourself:
